Very good pizza! Tried a pizza to bring back to nearby job. Large Chicago style meat lovers. Very thick, juicy, but not overly greasy. 3 pieces were pretty filling. Warning! It was heavily seasoned.

My wife and I both had the Pete salad. It’s very good, my wife always gets it. I usually get lasagna that’s very tasty as well. The service is great, waitresses are very friendly and cheerful, prompt and attentive. The food is always fresh and good. The place is starting to show its age, however. They tried to do a little bit of drywalling a while back and they just never really finished it. Kind of looks a little beat up, but it’s a good place to eat. I recommend this place. The reason I did not give it 5 stars is because the place is not kept up as it should be or could be.
UP DATE: THEY HAVE COMPLETELY RENOVATED THE DINING ROOM. IT LOOKS GREAT. Wife had her Pete salad, I opted for spaghetti and meat balls. Everything was great. With drinks cost was just a little over $20.

When arriving, I waited an additional 10 minutes for my food. There were plenty of workers, but instead of talking to me, or any of the other people waiting, they were just chit-chatting with each other.
The pizza was all slid over, with the wrong things that we ordered, and not cut right at all.
I understand being busy, but please be more polite to customers, and slow down to ensure better food quality.

Worst deep dish pizza ever, doesn’t taste like a deep dish pizza at all. The sausages are tiny bits of pieces. Need some work with the crust, the sauce and the bread is over power the deep dish pizza. I’d had deep dish pizzas all over chicago like pequoads, magiannos, pizza uno, Lou Malnati’s. Also the worst bread sticks I’ve ever had. They need to take more notes.

We visited Karmi for the weekend and it was the best restaurant in town. Was disappointed that a tiny Cesar salad was $6. But overall the pasta was good, the bread was great and the atmosphere was nice. Good service, too.

My husband and I were on a long trip and decided to stop here to grab take out before we got to the hotel. I got the tortellini and he got a regular cheese pizza. The tortellini was so bland I couldn’t believe it but the worst part was the tomato gravy was ketchup! Same for the pizza! It was so bad we had to throw the food away which I can’t stand wasting food but it was just absolutely disgusting. If you want good Italian food don’t go here. Nothing Italian about it. Plus the kids working there were are all just standing around on their phones in the kitchen and at the register and very rude.
