2nd time wife an I were there a heads up the person who posted 20 to 30. Nope. A pull pork dinner with drink is 14. I had the ribs tonite with a drink. 17. With app was 40. Cant complain on the meal when u have 5 star food.

We were looking forward to eating here after seeing all the wonderful pictures and reviews. We were welcomed immediately by our server who was genuinely enthusiastic especially when she knew we were dining in. We both ordered the brisket dinners. They were brought out in a timely manner and looked wonderful. That quickly changed when we tasted the food. The brisket had a really good smoke flavor but was dry like it had been warmed up too long. It came with some sauce on it which didn’t taste like a bbq sauce and just okay. Most of the meat was left on our plates. The cole slaw was the worst I’ve ever had. I couldn’t eat it. The mac & cheese had no flavor. The corn bread was very dry and extremely sweet. Giving this 2 stars because the collards were exceptionally wonderful & our server was excited, happy and we appreciated her good service.

so last night was my first night trying “the wright kinda BBQ” and when I tell you, they DID NOT disappoint by any means!!!! when I tell you, PHENOMENAL is the only word that comes to mind. from the welcoming as soon as you walk through the door, to the good conversation while we waited, it definitely made me feel like home. I met the owner Rod, and he was by far one of the nicest men I’ve had the pleasure of meeting.. the corn bread was SOOOOO good that a little piggie ate it on the way home (that little piggy was me) LOL all and all, some of the best BBQ I’ve ever had. The pulled pork sandwich w/ the Mac & Cheese was the way to go for me!! The ladies that took my order were also great and very informative about the menu! If you haven’t tried them, I highly suggest you do! CAN’T WAIT TO TRY THEIR BREAKFAST. I know we will definitely be back.

Rod Wright has opened a great barbeque experience with his restaurant on Deltona in Spring Hill. My wife and I had our first trip there tonight. It was amazing and the food will not disappoint you. The brisket is top notch and very tender. We also tried the pulled pork and it was very good. The sauce is great and it gives you a good taste of his combined Carolina and Kansas City style he serves which is worth trying.The Grandma’s collard greens are some of the best I have ever had and we loved their Mac n Cheese too. Baked beans were tasty. The corn bread is like a desert and very yummy. We can’t wait to try other items on the menu when we visit there again. The service was great too with Rod giving a nice touch by visiting us like a quality owner does. Thanks Rod and look forward to our next visit. Check it out folks! You will not regret it.

No thank you! Found out this establishment has the most health violations in our whole county! Owner has the nerve to say they are “serving up the best BBQ this side of heaven”. I’m sorry but no. Service is SUPER slow and the pricing doesn’t make sense. I get higher food costs in todays landscape but still what you get compared to what you pay for is crazy! $9 side of mac n cheese and the container isn’t even full… The owner sits out front instead of doing anything to help the slow service times. This with the health violations I’m sure the establishment wont be around for long. Good riddance!

Delicious! Ribs and brisket are juicy, perfectly blackened. So good you don’t need any sauce. All the sides are equally delicious. The fried okra is fresh the greens are amazing, Mac n cheese, potato salad, warm garlic bread, all delicious. It’s so good it makes you want to do a happy dance with every bite.

Some of the BEST BBQ around!! The ribs were tender and so was the brisket!! All of their side dishes are excellent!! Cornbread was moist and sweet. We eat there at least twice a month. The owner is very friendly and so is the staff!

Seeing all this drama about business owners and associates not allowed to have an opinion, i thought id try it for myself. Had the pulled pork sandwich, and the mac yesterday. Both were great ! The taste is worth the price. They were very busy and almost every table full yesterday when i arrived . It was a little bit of a wait, but this could happen anywhere. Competition is everywhere, not saying ill stop going to any other bbq restuarants because every business deserves a try. i will definetly be back to try the soul food.

Driest bbq around especially for the price. The Mac n cheese seems like they just threw some cheese on it and hoped for the best but that didn’t work out. The cornbread wasn’t too bad but bad enough that I won’t be back. I just happened to see them and was hungry and normally I can eat anything when I am hungry. No hype here.
Edited to say the fries are like school cafeteria crinkle fries and I loved school fries so they were good.

Not enough stars; deserves a solid 10 for value and quality. Everything was superb. BBQ done right; Smokey, Savory, Sweet, Succulent. Great job. Loved the sides as well! We’ll be back!
