the best buffet I’ve ever come across. All I needed at the desperate dead of night. the food amazing. the music absolute ✨peak✨. I could feel it in my nuggets I reached another plane while eating ice cream. And most of all, the dear hostess. She was so amazing so kind and accommodating, made me remember humanity after travelling for so long. The overwhelming kindness touched my soul she was so considerate. Absolutely made my day. and the gacha machines were a real cherry on top. China ‼️. We need to appreciate China more .

Best meal I’ve had after 30+ hours on the road, basically non-stop. The hostess was very nice and accommodating to our group of 11 who arrived after 7pm. Good music. Met me at a very Chinese time in my life. God bless China. ( ◜‿◝ )♡

Exactly what we needed at the end of the day. Got good food, great choices and they even brought out newly cooked food for our large party. Had good convo after dinner while the others are freshening up for another 9hour drive. The kids even had toys from the machine thanks to the very accommodating lady on the till. If passing by South Dakota be sure to check it out. You won’t regret it at all.

Basic buffet and if that doesn’t interest you, they do have menu service. We’ll established, been going here off and on for years. One of our staple locations to eat when in Mitchell. Always have fresh made Sushi, (along with all buffet staples). Never had a bad experience. Plenty of flavorful options, but kinda disappointed that the Egg Foo Yung was removed from the buffet (fortunately it is still available on the menu).

This place is “Not decent, cashier unfriendly, only two workers there working.” The one in back did the food, dishes, and re stock but the cashier was the rude one. Had to pay up front, must be the new norm…didn’t really greet, just said the cost to eat for two. I said well wait a minute what am I paying for? Buffet or take out was her response. I said buffet, does that price come with drinks? No! their separate cost. Understandable! However for two it came to $26.77 unlimited food, didn’t finish my food…probably will not be going back! Judge by the photos, this is their food!

This place used to be pretty good around 2010. Now, not so much. Selection isn’t good, half the buffet is empty, a lot of cold or barely warm food that’s been sitting in the warmer for quite a while. The “Snow shrimp” is still pretty good, but everything else was mediocre at best, and inedible at worst.
The service is extremely hot or miss. The hostess/waitress/lady that yells at the cook is either very pleasant or rude depending on the day. We went twice in hopes that the first time was just an off day. It wasn’t.
The place is filthy and falling apart. I used to eat here all the time when I lived here years ago, and the service was good, the food was good, and the place was clean and in good repair. Now it’s the opposite.
Hopefully Mitchell can get a good buffet at some point. This isn’t it.

I never noticed, but the wife says counters, etc were sticky from not being cleaned,
Granted, we were there and they were 2 hours from closing time and most likely were cutting back on their production and not placing new food out….. but still !!!!
