Uno Mustachio is an absolute gem in St. Lawrence Market. Teddy and George — the incredible father-and-son duo — are the heart and soul of this place. They are personable, welcoming, and run their operation with true professionalism. You can feel the genuine pride they take in their food and in serving their customers. All their staff follow in their footsteps too!
I’ve had both their veal and chicken sandwiches, and they are outstanding — perfectly seasoned, generous portions, and consistently delicious. The sauces are rich and flavourful without overpowering the sandwich itself. The Meatball sandwich is also delish!
And the pastas? Absolutely heavenly. Fresh, comforting, and made with authentic Italian care.
If you’re visiting the St Lawrence market, this is a must-stop! Great food made by even greater people.

Ordered beef penne pasta today and it was absolutely delicious! Came at 3pm on a Saturday and the lineup wasn’t too long. The portion is huge, and enough for two persons. Will definitely be back to try their humongous chicken parm. We were too full but they looked mighty fine

Iconic place in St. Lawrence market to grab an Italian sandwich or pasta dish. Being a super long time customer I almost always grab the ‘Godfather’ sandwiches which are stuffed with breaded eggplant, peppers and onions, layered sauce (sooo important), cheese, and meatballs (or perfectly fried chicken parm)! Go give them a try and you will smile.

food stop is downstairs for an eggplant sandwich. Sometimes I add in the chicken or pork cutlet but I gotta have the eggplant. Load up on all the veggies- mushrooms onions peppers and tomato sauce. Huge. You can share with a friend. Amazing.

My second meal at St. Lawrence Market today (lazy day, as I live locally!).
This place is always consistently good food, service and value. We had the veal & eggplant (pic) and the veal sandwiches. Great choices.
Have also tried their sauces to go (tomato and bolognese), which were saviours when looking into the freezer wondering what to do for dinner!

Amazing experience at Uno Mustachio! The food is consistently delicious—fresh, flavourful, and made with care. The sandwich was perfectly layered, packed with great taste, and very satisfying. I’ve known George for the last 5–6 years, and his passion for quality and customer service really shows in the food and overall experience. First time at the iconic St Lawrence Market on Valentine’s Day and I fell in love with the famous Uno Mustachio sandwich! What can I say other than it is HANDS DOWN the most delicious sandwich of any kind that I’ve ever had! Because of a tomato allergy I skipped the sauce but had extra pesto on the chicken and eggplant with jalapenos, onions, roasted red peppers and mushrooms. It was amazing! The bun was the perfect vessel for this beautiful creation. Big Boss was bursting with flavour, fresh and hearty, with crisp, golden breading. I had never had eggplant before and now its going to be my go-to. Also had an order of the hot and spicy olives and they were so yummy. The perfect pairing with the sandwich. My honey had the veal/eggplant version, which has been his favorite for years. He insisted I had to try it and now I know why! Staff was superb, friendly, fast and fun! Thanks to everyone at Mustachio’s for introducing me to this beauty!

Ordered the Chicken Parm, 4.7/5. I asked for all the fixings minus the upsell on the pesto. The sandwich was hot and delicious. Approximately $16 after tax but work the price. It was a very large serving. I encourage you to check it out. I’ll be back in the future.
