This place was genuinely disgusting. My friend and I came after classes and immediately experienced terrible service from Lee. She was extremely inattentive—despite the restaurant being nearly empty, we spent over 15 minutes trying to get her attention because we wanted additional protein. When it was time to check out, she gave us the bill and then disappeared for another 10 minutes before returning to collect our cards.
The cleanliness was unacceptable. The utensils, menus, and sauce containers were all visibly dirty. We were seated right next to a cleaning station, which completely ruined our appetite. The meat tasted like it came straight from frozen and left a lingering unpleasant aftertaste. Our drinks (lemonade and mango boba) were both noticeably watered down.
The food presentation and quality were just as bad. The sweet and spicy rice cakes came out with sauce dripped all over the plate. The lettuce wraps contained a literal dead bug. The cheese corn from the revolving belt was leaking liquid, and the cheese wasn’t even melted.
Overall, the experience reflected extremely low standards in cleanliness, service, and food quality. I would not recommend eating here. This restaurant seriously needs to revise its practices and improve.

We had a great experience, strong drinks great sides quick service. The meats came out on the train, and hot side items. The rotating Kimball was really good, plus some traditional sides called banchan were good but pretty mainstream. We would totally come back ❤️

Not sure how people are writing so many positive reviews for this place. I’ve been to a lot of unique KBBQs and this restaurant gets all the basics wrong. Frozen meat, barely hot plate to cook on, mediocre kimchi/appetizers and terrible service to top it off.
They never helped us cook or were attentive enough to our needs. The server was on her phone on the other side of the restaurant. There were about 4 people dining with us, so it wasn’t even crowded. At one point, I had to get up from my table and flag down the server to change our burnt plate because it was almost a fire hazard with all the burnt grease on top. And that is with the lukewarm hot plate( server said that was the highest heat). Our pork bulgogi took about 15min to cook ( we timed it on our watch). Mind you, bulgogi is thin and takes only about a min each side to cook. I literally have no clue how people can safely cook a steak on that plate.
Finally, I tried to eat a tiramisu dessert from the conveyor belt and I swear it tasted like spoilt milk. Probably because it was on the warm belt for far too long.
This might be the only time I have left hungry from a KBBQ restaurant.
In conclusion, I do not recommend this restaurant to any KBBQ lover.

Definitely an experience you pay for! SUPER expensive! Especially for the littles. $16 + $3 for a drink means a 4 year old costs nearly $20 and lets be realistic they eat about $5 on a good day. Daniel was our waiter. He was amazing! Great fun and friendly personality and stayed on top of everything A to Z the whole time. Its a cute quirky vibe. I love the concept. Technology meets buffet. My suggestions would be….#1 maybe include the drink for free at the very least with the kiddos. #2 Possibly some smaller portion options. (You get charged for leftovers) we would have loved to try and few more things but the portions were huge which can really limit what all you get to try. #3 more desert options theres only two, both “cakes” and honestly not great. The sesame seed balls were fantastic. #4 possibly a flat style holder for the tongs etc the cup container is a bit wonky falls over and is awkward to put in and pull out cooking utensils. Not to mention if they are going to touch raw chicken and then another food or meat Salmonella odds increase. #5 An instruction basics sheet of how the whole system works would be helpful to refer back to during the meal. All in all if your looking for something different its definitely that.

StoneAge Korean Steakhouse in Dunwoody delivers a top-tier dining experience from start to finish. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between modern and inviting—great energy without feeling chaotic. From a service standpoint, the staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and clearly trained to deliver a premium guest experience.
The quality of the meats is outstanding—fresh, well-marinated, and cooked to perfection right at the table. Every cut was flavorful and tender, and the banchan selection was on point, offering variety without overwhelming the table. You can tell there’s a strong operational focus on consistency and quality.
If you’re looking for an elevated Korean BBQ experience that’s ideal for date night, group dinners, or entertaining out-of-town guests, StoneAge Dunwoody absolutely delivers. Strong execution, great food, and a vibe that keeps you coming back. Highly recommend.

I came in on my lunch break, asked to sit at the bar. Was told that I couldn’t unless I was just drinking. Fair enough. I was taken back by the next question which was, “what are you here for”. It’s a restaurant, no? I thought they sold food. I explained that I was on my lunch break and intended to purchase lunch. I saw on their menu they had a ramen. I misspoke and said, kimchi, the waiter insisted they didn’t carry ramen at all and asked if I was at the correct location. I showed him the menu one sees if they click “order” on Google. He then tells me, well you can order online, right now we are doing BBQ only. My body language gave frustration. He then alternates between suggesting that I order online to, let me check with the kitchen. I left. Won’t be back, too much of a hassle just to patronize a restaurant that asks potential customers why they came to the establishment. Ended up getting ramen else where, with a more welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly staff that assumes people are there to buy whatever they’re in business of serving.

I’m so glad we tried this new addition to Dunwoody! My husband and I were here for a date night but it’s great for the whole family. It combines Korean BBQ and revolving sushi! Everything was fresh and tasted phenomenal. The price was a bargain…especially for everything you get. This will be our go-to from now on.

Amazing place and great customer service. They recommended the finger meat which was super flavorful and probably was the best tasting beef option. All the chicken was high quality and very flavorful. The whole experience was amazing we are definitely going back.

Super easy and fast but not “fast food”. Grab sides and sushi from the conveyor belt table side. Server will take your meat order which comes to your table on a little trolley thing above the conveyor. Waiter will get it cooking for you.
Stone Age steak and bibimbap could put some steak restaurants to shame. Sides were fresh and creative. Sides with a star beside them can be asked for and made fresh to you. All is included though.
I also tried pork belly and chicken which were good and fresh but next time I’d order spicy versions. If food quality and service stay topnotch they have a winner.
Edit: went back and service was atrocious which is a big deal at a place like this. Obviously hired help vs the owners
