Sunday brunch was wonderful. I had the steak & eggs with hollandaise, and a blueberry mimosa. All overlooking the scenic golf course and mountains in the background. We all had a great experience!

Hidden potential.

Truly a spot for those in the know, because boy is this place out on the edge of town. Scouring the google maps for new restaurants I haven’t tried nearby, and I stumbled upon this one only thanks to looking for Dock Brown’s

Ordered over the phone, going with an order of the Pretzel & Queso and a Turkey Ruben with Onion Rings. Given that this is an exclusive restaurant for a golf course, the prices matched the concept, and padded down my wallet for just over $40. Ouchie.

Back home I found myself loving the queso, perfectly cheesy and just the right level of heat. The pretzel sadly was underbaked, as there were globs of unbaked dough very visible at a glance. At least they got the idea right that pretzel for a queso dip, does not need any salt, because the dip is as salty as needs to be already. The ruben on the other hand was phenomenal. Tasty and filling, jam packed full of turkey and sauerkraut with a nice level of swiss and russian. The onion rings were a little softer than I tend to like, but I chalked that up to being in a sealed plastic container for the ride. They did go really well with the queso though, as there was more than enough dip left over after I finished the pretzel.

Overall the price is a tad bit much for the underbaked pretzel, but that singular complaint aside, this was a really good take out meal. I’d probably only come back if I were to dine in, same price for a better experience I suspect.

This place is just so fun! The food is really good but not overly expensive. They’re super willing to do modifications which I was very appreciative of. Our waitress was very nice and accommodating. The view is great. We went for brunch be ended up eating of the lunch menu so we’ll have to come back to try out the breakfast. 10/10

Stop equating large portions with good food! Casual golf clubhouse food venue. That’s says it all – convenience, not necessarily good food. The overpriced and bland Cajun Shrimp Alfredo ($27) had five bland small 26-30 sized shrimp (translation, approx 3 oz of shrimp – i checked against stuff I had at home. Owners claims these are 16-20, but go look at my photos and judge if these are as big as they say). The “spicy Alfredo” was not spicy, very creamy but very little hint of parm cheese (probably the cafe’s base cream sauce that the cook forgot to add spice or parm). The sirloin steak ($30) was average. The chef’s salad ($16) was basic (why people order this at a restaurant is beyond me). The Buffalo Rangoons ($14) was not spicy and had the wrong ratio of too much fried wrapping to stuffing. The Fried Chicken Sandwich ($17) seemed decent but not close to as good as the Hattie’s Wilton version ($13) They appear short handed as we had to hail the waiter down for everything (more water, parm cheese…even more drinks). I appreciated that someone else paid otherwise it would be a one star dining experience. And to the owner: yes, I did try all the food bc we were in a group of 7 and since I post a lot of restaurant reviews, i asked to try all the food.

We went for Brunch, which was superb. Great omelets, potatoes, large coffees and orange juice, all at a very reasonable price. Service staff were very nice, and we were told we have a $5 gift certificate for next visit!

Awesome. Many beer choices and the food is great. Huge deck and area under the deck for relaxing after 18 challenging holes (bring extra balls). However they have removed lots of trees and undergrowth so I’m not losing balls at the rate I did in years past.. I have gone there just to eat and drink and enjoy the view even when I hadn’t played golf that day.

Did some one say BRUNCH? We had our daughter’s gender reveal brunch here… they were more than over accommodating here… gave us the back part of the dining area so we could close the doors for added privacy, they made sure we had Everything in place, and served our food where everyone got their hot and together. Thank you for making our day a special one for the family…

P.S. their bloody Mary’s are tooooo die for ( I didn’t have one this day but have had them on golfing excursions with the fellas)
