Right after ordering they put up a sign that said be back in 15 minutes, after about 25 mins our buzzer went off. The guy opened up the window and handed the food before asking anything about sauces as there wasn’t any available. What we got is the driest, charred, way over cooked pork I have ever had from not only a Hawaiian place but like any place that does bbq. It was almost like the flavor of cheap jerky, super tough and dry. The Mac salad was flavorless and the rice was an over watered consistency. Overall not edible.
Like at least some sort of sauce would have at least made it were we could have consumed it.

I really don’t want to check the restaurant inspection scores… I should have canceled my order when the guy I the kitchen was on his phone with the black cooking gloves. Gross! I had already paid so just decided to trust my immune system.
The Spam musubi was so sad and expensive. I honestly wondered if they had ever even made it before. The Mac Salad was also a huge disappointment. Undercooked pasta and weird flavor. Couldn’t finish it. Took it to my born and raised in Hawaii Dad to try. He agreed it was a disgrace!
Overall, I felt completely let down and ripped off. Never again. People work too hard to waste their money here. Most people appreciate my honest reviews and I’m sorry to have to put such a negative one out there, but there is so much room for improvement with Huli Huli Chicken at the Oak Tree Station Food Carts.

Took the wife here for her birthday lunch. Glad I did, because the food was amazing!! I’m not a mac salad guy so I got double rice, but my wife raved about how delicious the mac salad was. We both got the Hungry Hawaiian. The huli huli chicken was charred to perfection, teriyaki steak was very tender and on point with the flavor. Wish the spam was grilled more. I like a crunch to my fried spam. Definitely will be back again.

First time here, wife ordered me the hungry Hawaiian. Presentation looked amazing and I was excited until I started eating. The furikaki threw me off being on top of the mac salad but what really got me was how overcooked and dry the huli huli chicken was. The grilled spam was good no complaints there. The teri beef was also dry almost like the meat was cooked first then soaked in the marinade? Also ordered the spam musubi because well you have to. The POG drink was delicious as always can’t ever mess that up as long it comes straight from the can to your cup.

This place was good. Their mac salad was super oniony which I didn’t like. I really liked the teriyaki beef and spam. The chicken was fine just not my favorite. Chicken was tender. The rice had fudakay which was really good. Overall a good place to eat and the area is cute.

Good, fresh food with generous portion. Tried Kalua pork and wife had a Huli Huli chicken.
Pork was very juicy and flavorful with perfect flavor.
My wife really enjoyed the chicken as well. Their Mac salad is great!

I’ve eaten at this food truck twice now. The main guy who works there does not belong in the food service industry. He ignores people, or is just plain rude to them. On this visit I ordered Kalua Pork, which I’ve had many times in Hawaii. It came fast, but it was super dry, like jerky in some spots. I went back to the truck, and a very nice young man added sauce to it, and it was OK enough to eat. But why should I have to do that? And why would I have to ask for silverware and napkins? They have sauces over on the side of the food truck, but no indication of what they are (labels would be nice). Overall, it’s very “amateur hour” there. Their menu items sound good, but they need to get their act together when it comes to quality, freshness, and most of all attitude. They don’t seem terrifically busy, but the guy acts annoyed when he gets a customer, like he doesn’t have time to wait on them. Jeez!

First time getting food here and not impressed. The rice was either old or over cooke, it’s was very dry and hard. The Mac salad had little to no flavoring and the kalua pork was dry. I felt like I was served a plate of food that was made a day prior. Although the gentleman who was working was kind and professional, I will not be returning definitely not worth the price.

Huli huli chicken not edible! Ordered 2 huli huli chicken plates. When our plates were ready in 2 minutes i immediately realized the chicken was not fresh cooked. The chicken was charred and the sauce was good but the chicken meat itself was so mushy it was literally not edible. Very disappointed as I was looking forward to some delicious huli huli chicken for several days & they did NOT deliver. Wasted $30 on a dinner that i placed in the trash uneaten. Plus I was promised a park like setting under a hundred year old oak tree, did not expect artificial grass under the oak tree. Will not return i would actually rate the huli huli chicken negative five stars and the location 1 star. I highly recommend that you do not go here unless you enjoy subpar food and sitting on artificial grass. Next time I will make my own huli huli chicken, which is ono delicious, and take it to a real park with a real grass. So disappointing.

This review is based solely on the spam musubi that I spent nearly $5 on. Didn’t think you can mess spam up, but here we are. Had a slightly sour taste. The overall shape/presentation and the color of the spam is just wrong. Guess it’s kinda my fault for trusting a high school looking kid to make it for me.
