My favorite restaurant in Broad Ripple. Love everything about it. Great food, outstanding service, and elegant atmosphere. My favorite dish is the potato crusted whitefish. So much so that I rarely order anything else. My daughter had the crusted salmon. Both were delicious. Looking at other reviews, I think I’m going to have to try the fried chicken next time!

Great neighborhood restaurant. Loved the design and ambiance. Service was too notch. Menu was just the right size with many great looking dishes. Great cocktail menu, but only a few beer selections. We started with the crab dip, it was excellent (especially the crustini’s). Wife had the shrimp and grits and really liked it. The andouille sausage broke up the creaminess of the grits. I had the fried chicken, it was probably my least favorite thing on the table. Was pretty bland, needed salt bad! However, the mac and cheese was phenomenal. They gave me a complementary peanut butter dessert that was very good. All in all a great dinner and we will be back.

The Hawaiian fish dish and calamari steak fries were very filling, topped off with a lemon bar cheesecake – it was delicious!

This was my 3rd time at the Northside Social, and second review I have left. Amazing amazing amazing. From the food to the service to the atmosphere, it’s phenomenal! Me and my family have gone twice, once for Valentine’s Day and recently for Easter. We had the same waiter both times, although I cannot remember his name! He wears a mask and is so so so helpful and upbeat about the menu, especially the recent menu changes!! Which are FYI game changer. We will definitely be returning to try the many new appetizers and entrees because we cannot get enough of this place. Delicious food!!

Best meal we had in Indianapolis by far! Appetizers were enjoyed- the meatballs and a crab dish, I think. We were a groups of 5 and all enjoyed our food. A bit expensive but in my opinion, worth it!

The atmosphere is great with outside seating if you are in the mood for it. It did get pretty pack during peak dinner hours. Crowed was mostly only the older side with a few young families.

Service was good. Our server Alex B. gave honest recommendations. Checked in on appropriate times and was very friendly. Not sure how they handle section assignments but when it got busy saw him running outside to inside which slowed him down in the end when we were ready for the check.

Started with some drinks and tried the spicy watermelon which tasted really close to the Mexican candy rebanaditas. The Tropical mule was pretty aromatic.

The wedge salad was okay, it was drenched in dressing which made it a bit much. The balsamic flavor came from the tomatoes, which was a nice touch.

I had the chef special which was a pre cut ribeye cooked medium with three dipping sauces. It was good but doesn’t quite match the price.

Also tried the brisket which was decent, the description alluded to something else but it’s just a pot roast.

The most disappointing part was the chocolate bread pudding. Super dry and had hardly any flavor.

Overall it was just average. The food is good, it just doesn’t quite match the price point.

Amazing overall experience. Our waiter was fantastic and did a great job explaining how everything here is from scratch, with an ever changing seasonal menu. We cannot wait to come back and try more offerings from here.
My pork chop was superb, the cocktails were so delicious (cannot recommend the Kentucky cobbler enough – so smooth and great flavors), and the carrot cake was a terrific ending to the meal. We did the mussels and frites. A pro tip our waiter had us try was to have the frites separate from the mussels. The dish is amazing but separating them allows you to control how saucy or soggy your fries get especially if you’re slow mussel eater like myself.

Starting off with the apps, we got the Dumplings and Crab Dip. Dumplings were tasty and that shoyu sauce was something serious. The whiskey mustve done the trick. I do wish the portion came with more for the price. Crab dip was flavorful, not too much lump Crab present but it was still good.

Entrees, we got the Short Rib and Manicotti. The Manicotti was unique with duck sausage and the pasta had the perfect texture. Really enjoyed it! The Short Rib was pretty good but the sauce invoked..giggles lol. Maybe went a little too heavy on the salt in the Dijon cream sauce that day. It was interesting since it took a second for the salinity to come through once you taste it.

Dessert was courtesy of a friend in the industry, the Turtle Cheesecake. It was rich and balanced. Im slightly allergic to pecans but I risked it all and kept eating it.

We’ll definitely be back!
