Chipotle delivers consistently good food with fresh ingredients and solid flavors, and that is why it still earns four stars from me. The quality of the food is generally reliable, and when everything is made right, it is a satisfying meal.
That said, the value has started to slip. Prices have gone up, while portion sizes feel noticeably smaller than they used to be. The food is still tasty, but it is harder to justify the cost when the bowl or burrito does not feel as filling as expected.
Overall, Chipotle remains a good option if you are craving bold flavors and fresh ingredients, but more generous portions would go a long way toward matching the higher price point.

This Chipotle is the most inconsistent one I’ve ever been to. I weigh my food for calorie tracking, and my usual chicken burrito has ranged anywhere from 1.2lbs to over 3lbs—the exact same order. How does that even make sense?
My most recent visit was the final straw. I picked up my online order for a bowl and burrito, got home, and found the smallest burrito I’ve ever seen. Weighing barely 0.8lbs, entirety missing lettuce, beans, and maybe a 0.25 portion of chicken. I drove back to speak with someone about it.
The manager told me she made the burrito herself and that they were out of beans and lettuce. I asked why no one mentioned this when I picked up the order, and she just said, “I don’t know, I didn’t remember,” then immediately offered a refund.
If a third of my ingredients are missing, customers should be told at pickup—especially when the order only has six ingredients total. Between the lack of communication, the wasted time and gas, and the extreme inconsistency in portion sizes, the customer service here is seriously lacking. I’ve been a long time patron, but this is seriously making me reconsider if I should continue.

They prioritize to go orders. The girl serving threw my food in the bowl so fast and was trying to just get me out as quickly as possible. I got the smallest portions of everything. She forgot my chips. Very disappointed cause I used to love this location and it’s gone down hill

This afternoon our experience here at this location was by far the worst ever. Horrible customer service from Jeanpierre, when cashing us out her attitude was rudely disgusting, when I asked for guacamole and queso dips she had the nerve to suck her teeth and prepared our dips sloppy! She didn’t even wear gloves to prepare our dips, and yelled ‘Anything Else?!’ Even her coworker looked up at us as I replied nicely! Upper management needs to address her and her attitude because what we experience DISGUSTING-

Ok so I’m a student at UNM and came to this location for my lunch, I had never been to Chipotle this was my first time… The food was good but the service was not. The first encounter I had the girl was not very pleasant. I wasn’t sure how to order, being it was my first time so I asked if my tacos came with the carne asada because all she asked was what kind of rice and beans I wanted. After I said white rice and pinto she passed the tacos to the next guy that was in charge of the toppings and was going to skip the meat part. So I kindly asked if it came with the carne asada and she rudely replied “did you want carne asada tacos” and I said yes please. She just had a lot of attitude. The next guy in the assembly line was nice but when it got time to pay, one of the girls said “did you want anything else” after she gave me my drink she reiterated what the cashier said (I didn’t hear him) and said “its 16.79” again with the rude tone. I get that this was in the middle of a lunch rush but you should have thought about those situations when you chose to work at a popular fast food place, serving people, BY A COLLEGE.

I ordered a chicken and beef brisket bowl with brown rice; pinto beans; cheese; pico de gallo; sour cream; and lettuce. It was very good – yummmm, but the brisket was overdone. I also ordered chips and a side of guacamole. The guacamole had too many onions in it for my liking, but it was still good. However, the chips weren’t all that great because they tasted stale and had too much salt!

I had one of the worst service experiences at this restaurant. When we arrived, we were immediately told the system was down and we’d have a long wait. However, we noticed other customers still getting their orders processed, which was confusing and frustrating. Despite waiting a significant amount of time, every time we asked for an update we received rude and dismissive responses. When I finally attempted to place my order, they scraped the last bits of chicken into my bowl and informed me they were out of the item entirely — with no apology or attempt to accommodate us.
The lack of communication, inconsistent service, and unprofessional attitude from the staff made this an extremely disappointing visit. I’ve never experienced service this poor and would not recommend this location.

Service one hour before closing is horrible. No greeting, they prioritize online orders and shut down the grill 1 hour before closing and even turn off the burners that keep the food warm one hour before closing. And they wonder why no one wants their food. It’s already overpriced and adding this is cherry on the top. Do not come here one hour before closing!
