Sunoco gas station food fare. Located on the right as you cross the Rappahannock river bridge going south on HIGHWAY 1. Upon arrival, the parking areas around the store were full except for one spot. This was due to the people inside utilizing the gaming machines.
Small counter ordering inside the gas station. Area appears clean and the staff attentive. Saturday 2/21/26 1 PM the wife and I placed our order and waited inside for 20 minutes while it was prepared. No one else ordering food. Well stocked store with gaming machines located in the back that were fully occupied. No place to eat inside.
The wife’s smash burger was good as were the accompanied fries. She did opt to add dill pickle slices and mustard at home. I placed my order for one sweet chili wings and one soy garlic wings. I was informed these were very large wings and I would receive 5 vs 6 wings per order as that’s what would fit in the box. These were jumbo wings that can only come from old chickens or GMO enhanced fast growing chickens. Not an issue, just clarification. The meat on the drumsticks were almost equivalent to a normal chicken thigh from any of the chicken chains. The meat on both flavors was very dense but semi-tender. One order is enough for the average person but I wanted to try two sauces. Based on my takeout, and eating them at home 30 minutes later, I would suggest getting the sweet chili sauce on the side and adding/dipping the wings at home as it made the wings very mushy. I didn’t particularly care for the sweet chili sauce. The soy garlic sauce left the wings crispy and was my favorite of the two.
Our order totalled $44.47 for two orders of wings and smash burger. Very very expensive. No celery with the wings. It was OK but we can get two steak dinners for that. Will not be returning.
*Note this review was completed without using ridiculous un-discriptive terms like out-of-bounds, OMG, on point, awesome, the bomb, yummy, delish, to die for, do yourself a favor, trust me, flavorful, or kids emojis etc.. Describe the food, service (or lack of) and provide details on the cost/copy of check and include pictures! Is the place clean? No disrespect to the employees, but no one cares about the waiter/waitress/clerk names, or if they look like they fell face first into a tackle box. They get changed like underwear and you don’t get to pick one. We don’t care about your allergies, vibes, how “chill” you feel, or the need for gluten free food.

Their wings are HUGE! But he warned us that their latest order of wings were the size of chicken legs, which they are, so they can only fit 5 in the container instead of 6, which was perfectly fine! They’re still brined and double-fried, Korean style – and we got them with their Gochujang Buffalo sauce – NICE!! I got a single patty smash burger, again another amazing dish here! The meat was so flavorful and there was a nice char on the patty and it was much bigger than the typical 3oz smash burger patty. The cheese was crazy flavorful with a long, stringy cheese pull and that coupled with the caramelized onions went great on the perfectly toasted bun!
We also tried their Bulgogi Steak & Cheese – This was so flavorful with the marinated steak, which was grilled perfectly! It all came together perfectly on that tasty bun too. And their fries are crispy and piping hot to order. There were only 2 of us, but all this food was soooo much to eat, we end up taking 3 of these large wings home for lunch the next day.
Keep in mind that this is a carry-out joint, but they do have a single table in the back, near the gambling machines where were able to stand and eat our food (we asked prior to doing this and they said “of course!”). One of the staff even came to check on us while we were eating and brought us more napkins.
Even though it’s carryout, don’t think this is fried, nasty, messy food wrapped and too messy to eat… I didn’t get my hands messy at all eating these wings and burger, they do a great job of packaging the food here.
We’ll definitely be back soon… Give them a try!
Not a single thing to criticize about this place. Hopefully they can get some picnic tables outside in the spring so we don’t have to wait until we get home to eat!
This place is AMAZING !
They have some classic flavors like the Bulgogi Bibimop that is a huge plate of delicious beef, rice. fresh cut veggies, pickled veggies, and a fried egg. They also have mouthwatering fusion dishes too! The loaded Bulgogi fries DELICIOUS!
I am a huge fan of kimchi and theirs is homemade!
If you haven’t stopped in you are missing out.
