First visit here based on reviews of the food.

Sunoco gas station food fare. Located on the right as you cross the Rappahannock river bridge going south on HIGHWAY 1. Upon arrival, the parking areas around the store were full except for one spot. This was due to the people inside utilizing the gaming machines.

Small counter ordering inside the gas station. Area appears clean and the staff attentive. Saturday 2/21/26 1 PM the wife and I placed our order and waited inside for 20 minutes while it was prepared. No one else ordering food. Well stocked store with gaming machines located in the back that were fully occupied. No place to eat inside.

The wife’s smash burger was good as were the accompanied fries. She did opt to add dill pickle slices and mustard at home. I placed my order for one sweet chili wings and one soy garlic wings. I was informed these were very large wings and I would receive 5 vs 6 wings per order as that’s what would fit in the box. These were jumbo wings that can only come from old chickens or GMO enhanced fast growing chickens. Not an issue, just clarification. The meat on the drumsticks were almost equivalent to a normal chicken thigh from any of the chicken chains. The meat on both flavors was very dense but semi-tender. One order is enough for the average person but I wanted to try two sauces. Based on my takeout, and eating them at home 30 minutes later, I would suggest getting the sweet chili sauce on the side and adding/dipping the wings at home as it made the wings very mushy. I didn’t particularly care for the sweet chili sauce. The soy garlic sauce left the wings crispy and was my favorite of the two.
Our order totalled $44.47 for two orders of wings and smash burger. Very very expensive. No celery with the wings. It was OK but we can get two steak dinners for that. Will not be returning.

*Note this review was completed without using ridiculous un-discriptive terms like out-of-bounds, OMG, on point, awesome, the bomb, yummy, delish, to die for, do yourself a favor, trust me, flavorful, or kids emojis etc.. Describe the food, service (or lack of) and provide details on the cost/copy of check and include pictures! Is the place clean? No disrespect to the employees, but no one cares about the waiter/waitress/clerk names, or if they look like they fell face first into a tackle box. They get changed like underwear and you don’t get to pick one. We don’t care about your allergies, vibes, how “chill” you feel, or the need for gluten free food.

We’ve heard so many great things about Jenny’s Grill that we decided to give them a try for lunch on a weekday. It’s a nice little carry-out operation in a Sunoco gas station sitting at Rt1 and Princess Ann St. Service was excellent and very helpful! Their menu might be small, but it’s loaded with many tasty options. The guy who took our order was very helpful and friendly. He gave us great suggestions, as well as let us taste their Gochujang Buffalo sauce to get an idea of the flavors before we selected it for our wings.

Their wings are HUGE! But he warned us that their latest order of wings were the size of chicken legs, which they are, so they can only fit 5 in the container instead of 6, which was perfectly fine! They’re still brined and double-fried, Korean style – and we got them with their Gochujang Buffalo sauce – NICE!! I got a single patty smash burger, again another amazing dish here! The meat was so flavorful and there was a nice char on the patty and it was much bigger than the typical 3oz smash burger patty. The cheese was crazy flavorful with a long, stringy cheese pull and that coupled with the caramelized onions went great on the perfectly toasted bun!

We also tried their Bulgogi Steak & Cheese – This was so flavorful with the marinated steak, which was grilled perfectly! It all came together perfectly on that tasty bun too. And their fries are crispy and piping hot to order. There were only 2 of us, but all this food was soooo much to eat, we end up taking 3 of these large wings home for lunch the next day.

Keep in mind that this is a carry-out joint, but they do have a single table in the back, near the gambling machines where were able to stand and eat our food (we asked prior to doing this and they said “of course!”). One of the staff even came to check on us while we were eating and brought us more napkins.
Even though it’s carryout, don’t think this is fried, nasty, messy food wrapped and too messy to eat… I didn’t get my hands messy at all eating these wings and burger, they do a great job of packaging the food here.

We’ll definitely be back soon… Give them a try!

Food so good makes you want to eat it again and again. The dishes are delicious, well balanced, and cooked to perfection! Some coworkers and I put in a huge order for lunch. The staff is so kind and grateful. Everything was ready right on time. They even cooked my loaded bulgogi fries last just so they wouldn’t be soggy. I feel like that was intentional! I unfortunately didn’t get a picture of every dish that was ordered but everyone who ordered was so happy with their meal. Pictured are my bulgogi fries. Give Jenny’s Grill a try! You won’t regret it!

In short, a much needed addition to the local food scene. While we now have several kbbq places around, none of them offer anything close to what Jenny’s does. They managed to make their loaded fries with the perfect ratio of toppings to fries. The wings are generously sized and perfectly crunchy. The food is so good you really just have to try it for yourself. Please don’t ever close lol.

A hidden gem that is definitely a must-try for both quality and convenience. A much-needed addition to Fredericksburg’s Korean food scene. The sweet chili and gochujang buffalo wings are a 10/10 (the missing wing is proof—I couldn’t wait). Still thinking about the pork dumplings…will definitely be back soon.

We love gas station food finds and this one is at the top. Jenny’s Grill will be part of our take out food rotation. The Bulgogi Cheese Steak and Loaded Fries made for a delicious lunch. We went with the Kimchi Cole Slaw too. Hopefully we can buy the Cole Slaw in bulk next time.

Not a single thing to criticize about this place. Hopefully they can get some picnic tables outside in the spring so we don’t have to wait until we get home to eat!

Literally a hidden gem right off Rt1 Emancipation Highway in the Sunoco Gas station !
This place is AMAZING !
They have some classic flavors like the Bulgogi Bibimop that is a huge plate of delicious beef, rice. fresh cut veggies, pickled veggies, and a fried egg. They also have mouthwatering fusion dishes too! The loaded Bulgogi fries DELICIOUS!
I am a huge fan of kimchi and theirs is homemade!
If you haven’t stopped in you are missing out.
Definitely check out their social media to see current hours

This place is totally a hidden gem ! The staff were so kind and helpful, the portions are great, and the flavors were incredible. I would reccomend the cheese steak and the bahn mi. They both tasted very fresh and the sauces were so flavorful. Very happy and will be back! I’m so impressed by this unassuming spot.

Omg no joke when I was done eating I texted my family that this was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. My wife and I had the Korean wings and the fried chicken rice bowl. I felt like Guy Fieri in triple D when you can tell hes SUPER into a dish because he just ravages it and stops talking to the chef. Yeah that was us last night. Cannot WAIT to go back!

This place is special. A small, family run business and you can tell they put their heart in this food. Authentic taste with a modern twist. Everything on this menu is good. Maybe the only menu in town I can say that about. This is a must try
