Delicious- just go!
The vibe is pretty homie gives French bistro vibes and feels like an old living room throughout most of the restaurant. Service was friendly, quick and helpful and prices were more than fair for the flavor.
We went for brunch and everything we had was very tasty- I didn’t use a single condiment, which is rare the French toast was amazing. It’s honestly the perfect amount (non American portion), but you will want that more.
We also had the crêpe V something and the rustic omelette both exquisite. I will be happy ordering this every time, but I’m also curious to explore a few of the other options. The menu isn’t super dense, but we’re thinking of trying the sweet crêpe next time and maybe a desert.
Pro tip add some of the syrupy whipped cream from your French toast to a cappuccino and enjoy. Better than most lattes.
10 out of 10 would brunch again!

Took my daughters here for brunch and it was very quaint and relaxing. Service is friendly and super attentive. We loved the French vibe and atmosphere was very peaceful. The food was made fresh to order and it was delicious. Coffee was fresh and perfect for our Sunday morning start. I would highly recommend, I’m only sad we didn’t visit for lunch and dinner too. I hope we can come back some time.

Best duck ever. French Onion Soup was different than most but super delicious. Creamy onions with just the right crunch. Also had the Chicken Cordon Bleu which was very good. Personally not a big fan of cabbage, but their red cabbage side is great. Prices were much better than most any good French restaurant we have dined, most expensive dishes were filet and the duck at $34 including salad and a side. Will definitely be coming back!

Amazing food! The french onion soup, creme brule, beef stew, and chicken corde on blue are delicious!! You can see I had already begun digging in before I could snap a pic.

ALSACE is a delightful hidden gem on Tierra Verde! For starters, they were able to seat us without a reservation and we were walked through a very charming homely restaurant. The menu had authentic French cuisine and did not disappoint. The escargot was the best I have ever had and was drenched in a lemon cream sauce. The sauce had an excellent roux as it was thick, not at all watery. We also got the Camembert, paired with a homemade jam that was delightful! They must have it shipped from France because it is very hard to find in the US. The Canard a L’Orange (duck) was cooked to be perfectly tender. The cooked cabbage was a hearty accompaniment. My dish was a breaded chicken and mushroom gravy that was divine. I also appreciated that the entrees came with a little salad as well. We ended the meal with a delightful lavender crème brûlée and brioche French toast. The chef clearly puts immense passion into the food, as I have no complaints about anything. Even the bread was freshly sliced to order! This quaint little restaurant is well worth splurging on.

One of the best meals my family has had in Florida! Flavors and attentiveness to detail was awesome. Our meal was to go but we were greeted kindly by the host and the chef. We thought it was awesome to be able to see the chef cooking our food at the moment, fresh and quality ingredients. A must try when visiting the Fort De Soto area.

Deliciously authentic! Wonderful menu selection, reminiscent of fine bistro dining in France. Charming, elegant yet quaint atmosphere. Our server was friendly and awesome! Sincerely the very best dinner in a long time from appetizer, all the way through dessert! Thank you, Alsace French Bistro for such a delightful experience.

By far the best French food I’ve had in the US. From the perfectly roasted duck to the side vegetables to the lavender creme brulee , everything was delicious. The service was quick and our waiter was very helpful with recommendations. The wine list was pretty good quality (mostly French of course) and reasonably priced.
We will for sure be back.

Outstanding!
We have been coming to Fort DeSoto for many years and we have only just found this hidden gem.
We arrived at 8pm Saturday night and were shown to our table straight away.
Very cutesy with a homely feel.
I loved the cook books and particularly the “how to speak to cats” book.
We ordered a French onion soup which was not comparable to anything else I have ever tasted (in a good way!)
Full of flavor, no dark brown broth which was a first!
Mains- I ordered the pork osso-buco which was delicious, my husband got the beef bourguinon. Both came with a side salad and we chose the sauteed potatoes as our side.
I wish we had room for desert.
I can’t wait to return !

Dinner at this charming Tierra Verde restaurant was special. The signature duck was great, as was the chicken cordon bleu. Best french fries and side salad ever! Fantabulous chocolate mousse for dessert. Very friendly service. We’ll definitely be back.
