Food was great and pretty inexpensive for Manhattan. Compared to other taquerias/Mexican places around this definitely stands tall as a worthy competitor. I went on a Saturday and the vibe was chill; the decorations really add to the atmosphere. It’s less traditional Mexican and more Mexican American; art piece of Frida Khalo next scatter in with Prince and Jimi Hendrix. Playlist had pop, rock, metal, it was all over the place; enjoyable but not sure what they were going for. They seemed overstaffed, my server was nice enough and visited our table frequently but I saw what looked like employees or maybe friends of employees just hanging around. Confusing to me but didn’t detract from the experience. Overall, worth a visit and will definitely be returning.

10/10⭐️ We had an amazing experience! Gabriel was our server and he provided wonderful customer service—friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcome. The food was absolutely delicious and came out perfectly. You can tell this place really cares about both the food and the people. We’ll definitely be back!

I feel compelled to write a review since I felt extremely misled by all the positive reviews. The food here is super mid, though I will say the prices are very reasonable for the area. I had the papas and chorizo tacos, both of which were so salty to the point of being inedible. My friend got the tostadas, which were fine, but covered in an unreasonable amount of lettuce and just odd. I also got the lengua (tongue) taco, and that is the only thing I will say was actually pretty good. The margaritas were absolutely disgusting; my friend and I took one sip and abandoned them. Servers were really nice though.

Was such a great surprise when rhe food came. I guess I wasn’t expecting much as the place was sort of empty but the stagg were polite if not Spanish speaking. Food was pretty good too ans the enchiladas were more than I expected from a low key place. Good Rita’s too

Fantastic tacos at $4!!!! Super worth it. Highly recommend the fish and steak. The steak is sooo good. And the fish is citrusy with a zing to it. Great service and friendly staff!
Margarita was great too.
Definitely the best tacos place so far.

Dine in comes with complimentary chips and salsa. The place was decent for the price. Only $35 for a very filling meal and drink for 2 people and we over ordered so we had to bring some food home. As for the quality was kind of mid but it was still decent mexican food regardless even though it wasn’t the best. Would recommend coming here. Also the pork taco was dry.

One of the few places in the city that has refried beans, their chips are great and I enjoy their salsa. My go to is their steak quesadilla, it can be a little oily, but it’s delicious and they give really great portions of steak.
It’s a neighborhood spot, so it’s always busy, a spa quit restaurant with cute decor, and fresh made margaritas.

Go today. Sit at the bar. Order steak tacos (WITH the spicy sauce) and a house margarita. Then order two more margaritas. Hang out and talk to the regulars. Meet the staff. Soak in the decor and the playlist. Watch the sidewalk ballet on Third Ave. This spot is a treasure and their team is the highlight.

My friends and I came in tonight and had an AMAZING experience, the place was busy and hopping, (which for the food quality is extremely warranted) and we still received great service, and quick and delicious food!!! I had the enchiladas, my friends had burritas and a quesadilla! I would totally recommend this place to anyone near Union Square lookin for good food and drinks without breaking your piggy bank! It was LESS THAN $50 for THREE PEOPLE!!!!
