Myself & Guest ordered enough food I’m leaving review after 1st visit.
We were greeted as soon as we walked in, friendly staff & cozy Restaurant.
I didn’t know what to expect, but Myself & Guest were NOT disappointed!
We were both blown away with the freshness and flavors, the Prawn cupcakes have a sweetness from the coconut, the Brisket sandwich was incredible with the pickled veggies and side beef egg yolk soup, WOW!
Garlic butter wings were cooked perfectly and still hot long after we got them. My guest finished every bite of the beef bowl and the spring rolls saying they would return for that dish alone!
The restaurant gets really busy during regular evening dinning hours so reservation is recommended. We stopped in between lunch and dinner and had a quiet relaxing dinning experience.

This place is the perfect example of an extraordinary family owned business. The mom is an extraordinary cook and the kids take so much pride in being there and to provide the best experience possible. They were extremely friendly, amazing service, and the food was outstanding. For the less adventurous eaters they have options. This is the place Campbell River has been missing.
I wish Eric and his family all the success with their restaurant. Get out and visit them. Order the dumplings.

I’ve only been here twice but bith times have been within the last two weeks. I have never eaten Vietnamese food until just recently. My first experience was so good that I wanted to go back. This was yesterday’s lunch and it was fantastic. The flavours complimented each other so well. Such a lovely place and there are more things on the menu I want to try so that also tells me something!

At first glance, I didn’t have high hopes. I was told this was the best pho restaurant on the island. But there wasn’t an Asian in sight for staff. How authentic could the food be? My first bite of the appetizers and oh my goodness, I was in love. If the apps were this good the main had to be on par. And they were! Everything was so delicious. Our leftovers were even tastier when we had them for breakfast the next day. The mixologist on site made the most delicious drinks to go with our meals.

Truly one of the best Vietnamese meals I’ve ever had!! I have been dreaming about the Banh Xeo since the day we had it. I would genuinely come back to Campbell River just for this experience. This genuinely rivals the Vietnamese food we’ve tried in Vancouver and in terms of authenticity, it’s unmatched. Thanks for a beautiful meal.

A cozy and popular spot. Reservations are accepted and walk-in spots are available at the bar. Despite being busy, the noise level was tolerable.
The menu is diverse and the bartender takes pride in his cocktails. I ordered the Beef Pho and it was tasty with a generous portion of beef and meatballs. I would rate their Pho as better than other options in town.
Prices were reasonable and the POS offers fair tip options.
Unfortunately the bar was a little tall for comfortable soup consumption.

Been here a couple times and their food has always been tasty. For the last visit, we ordered the beef carpaccio to share and I ordered the Banh Xeo. I really enjoyed how crispy the Banh Xeo was, although I think the filling could use a little more seasoning. However, they provided a good amount of herbs, which I used up. My husband ordered the beef stew and it was very good. Our friends ordered the Golden Char and we couldn’t believe how big the portions were. We finished off with the passion fruit panna cotta to complete our meals.

I had such a great experience at Nhau Vietnamese Kitchen and Bar! The staff were incredibly hard working and fast, while still being so accommodating and attentive. They were knowledgeable, passionate, and made sure everything was handled with care and understanding, which really elevated the whole dining experience.
I ordered the dry chicken pho, beef secoué, and the four season salad, every dish was fresh, flavourful, and beautifully prepared. You can really taste the quality and effort that goes into the food.
Although the wait can be a little long without a reservation, it’s absolutely worth it once you’re seated. Between the amazing dishes and the outstanding service, this spot has definitely become a favourite. I’ll absolutely be coming back for the hidden gem!

Been here a few times and every time I enjoy it. Meat is always cooked well keeping it juicy. Portions are large but a lot of options are lighter and easy to digest even in large amounts. Service is always friendly, tea is never bitter and I hate coffee but their coffee is tasty even to me. Overall they’ve become my default when I’m in town near lunch/dinner time and don’t know where to eat
