The Restaurant at Hill Farm, nestled in the Equinox Valley is a celebration of this time and place in Southern Vermont. Dinner is served in our beautiful, lofted barn with a wood-fired oven and sweeping views of the Taconic Mountain Range. Seasonal farm-to-table menus are sourced from our own market garden, as well as from our neighboring food community. Our full bar features seasonal cocktails, Vermont beers on tap and a wine program that is committed to sustainable vineyards. The Restaurant offers table seating for small and large groups, as well as seating at our bar and our Chef’s Counter. Outdoor seating is also available, in season, on our wrap around deck.

We enjoyed the smoked maple greens app! It had squash, almonds, cranberries and blu cheese! My husband’s favorite was the sweet potato pie it was so unique and flavorful I recommend. We also got the hummus and mushroom tortellini! Our toddler got lots of breaks during dinner getting to go see the alpacas. Our waiter Heidi was a delight! We will be back next time we are in town!

These three chefs were amazing! I had a wonderful meal with new found friends. Sofia, the manager, was awesome and so sweet. I felt like I was already a part of the family.

I believe every week they have new dishes to serve which are amazing!!! Executive Chef Austin, your expertise in coming up dishes is awesome. Each one of them will just surprise you how beautifully he blends different ingredients to come up with such delicious dishes.

Had an amazing dining experience and delicious food! Never been to this area before and was suggested to try Hill Farm restaurant. If you are in the area i strongly suggest you try this place you will not be disappointed. All staff are really friendly and professional especially James went above and beyond to make sure we liked and enjoyed our food. Can’t wait to visit this place and try their other menu items. The restaurant itself is beautiful – you have a beautiful bar, chefs counter seating, long farm tables for bigger groups and more private tables that my wife and in opted for after having a drink at the bar.
We ordered the hummus, chicken wings, roasted carrots and a pizza. The first three small plates were our absolute favorite! No way I could pick a favorite between the three. The pizza was delicious, however we found the crust to be a little under done. Not like the ones we saw photos of or that were getting dropped at other tables. We asked them to pop it back in the pizza oven and they were happy to do so!
The service was top notch. Attentive but not overbearing. We really enjoyed our conversation with the staff, it brought our dining experience to the next level! We can’t wait for our next Hill Farm stay!

The rustic ambience and the bar is perfect. The service is friendly and efficient. They dish out amazing cocktails. The scallop ceviche and pita and hummus were delicious. The kids loved the marinara pizza. The fish if the day with the herb sauce was great. Definitely, one of the best meals we have had in VT. Will be back again!

What a wonderful restaurant. The atmosphere is incredibly relaxed, the food carefully prepared with produce grown on-site, the staff friendly and well-informed, and everything was absolutely delicious. When dinner was over, the chef invited us to go into their fields and pick some fresh snow peas. There is no place that says “Vermont” like the Restaurant at Hill Farm.
The kitchen encourages sharing. We split the black cod entree (in photo) and had the hummus plate, big salad, and marinated olives. We missed the roasted carrots, but will try those next time.

Cool vibe, friendly folks & such incredible, creative dishes! Highly recommend the smoked maple salad & the Nantucket scallops with pasta! Check it out. The view of the mountains is a lovely bonus!

Came to celebrate a special occasion, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate, and were very kind and welcoming. Every single dish was uniquely curated, and absolutely incredible. Drinks were also fantastic. Will be recommending to all and returning soon!

This is our favorite restaurant in southern Vermont! Great atmosphere, delicious food, and friendly staff. You can’t go wrong. Bonus: They are kid friendly! There’s a field next to the restaurant where they can run around and visit the farm alpacas.
