Seafood Restaurant

Actually it’s quite hard to get a seafood specialist restaurant. And we got The White Swan, which has a seafood menu.

There are chef’s specials besides of the regular menu too. The staff will show you without being requested.

Everything was cooked in perfection, from scallops to crab to sword fish steaks to the fishman platter. Nothing to fault at.

The staff were very patient to the customers.

The place is located at the quiet side of Great Yarmouth. The restaurant and the toilets are clean.

I cannot wait to come back again!

Visiting Great Yarmouth first time, tried out this restaurant after reading good reviews. It was busy and we were offered to sit outside initially, then was able to get a table inside later.

Fresh seafood, it was an enjoyable lunch.

Lovely food and great staff. Made our 23rd Anniversary feel very special indeed. Would highly recommend if you love your seafood. You need to book your table really as it was very busy and isn’t a huge place.

Was staying across the river and saw this restaurant. Arrived just before closing but no issues: seated and served quickly. Food – mussels and skate wing the two main courses – was all excellent. If you love fish, don’t miss it. If you don’t, they have steak and I’m prepared to bet they’ll cook it well. Chips are from the chippie at the back.

A lovely place with a nautical theme, the decoration inside suits The White Swan perfectly. We visited on fish and chips night, so that was tye only item on the menu. It was superb however, with 4 types of fish available and a range of extras. Great service, prices and a nice atmosphere.

We booked a table for a Thursday evening….it was very busy so we are glad that we booked. It was the Fish Boil night which means it was a set menu. It cost £60 for 2 people for 2 courses, you could add lobster at an extra charge. There was a choice of starter prawns or scallops (we had one of each). The main came in a large sharing bowl and consisted of crabs claws, king prawns, muscles, clams, corn on the cob, new potatoes, salami sausage and a sauce. The waitress provided us with plastic gloves and a bib (which was definately needed) very difficult to eat without getting messy. Food was good …my husband thought it was amazing.
Table Service was quick and friendly. Parking is easy just outside in the large carpark. The restaurant is ground floor. We would eat here again but would book on a night when the full menu is available.

I highly recommend this restaurant
The food and service quality was truly exceptional,
The fish and chips I had were among the best I have ever had. Perfectly crispy batter and really fresh fish. Amazing. Turned a miserable rainy day into something lovely.

Great service and good quality food with a lovely, pleasant ambiance.

They serve great seafood but also have delicious, succulemt lambshank on the menu.

The only downside is the lack of vegan/vegetarian/dietary options.

Booked for lunch with our 2 young boys. We had a seafood platter to share and oysters to start. Food was delicious and service friendly.
Childrens menus are available and portions are generous!
There is a fishmongers next door, which offers a great selection. We came back the following day to buy dressed crabs as they were sold out by the time we got round after lunch.
