We (family of four) stopped in for lunch this past weekend and had a fabulous half-cheese half-pepperoni pie! Service was great, the crispy undercarriage and crust Jersey-style pizza has a savory sauce and perfect toppings ratio. Also, they have Boylan soda fountains with red birch beer, a personal favorite but rarity in the south, and Philly Water Ice. Only thing is this is better for takeout since the seating is very limited inside and out, and the soda fountain was a little dusty. Highly recommended especially if you are familiar with and a fan of NJ/NY pizza.

Really fine New Jersey boardwalk Style pizza prepared as it should be. Tangy sauce, crispy, chewy crust, generous toppings. Yummy.

Nothing I love more than ordering a pizza I know is phenomenal on game day. Love the family run vibes. Staff is incredibly friendly. Don’t get me started about the undercarriage all round perfect!

UPDATE: wrote my review two years ago and came back to say this is STILL the best pizza in East Cobb. Consistently delicious and high quality.
Decided to stop by and try this place while waiting for my daughter’s prescription at Publix. My goodness I regret not coming here earlier! Delicious pizza, friendly service, and a great spot just to hang out with a slice for lunch. Will definitely be back 🙂

As a NJ Native where a Great Pizza is available in every town … this Pizza was very good but unfortunately I was completely overwhelmed with the cost of a 18” Pizza with Sausage Peppers and Onions (which is a NJ Favorite). Pricing is not clearly available in the store, no printed menu nor did the Digital Signage above the counter show the cost of each topping.

I figured a $28 – 30 cost but was asked to pay $38.25. Pizza was already started so I didn’t want to be rude and just cancel… I said “are you sure? Because this is almost double what I would have payed in NJ in 2019”. They said “you can change your toppings” as they were not yet added to the pie. I chose to have my original order as the additional 8 dollars wasn’t going to ruin my day.

Looking at your competition around Roswell … your price is on average $10 more for the same pie.

Suggest a combo topping price (customer can choose 3). You can only fit so much when adding multiple topping on a pie so even if each topping had an individual cost to cover the pie adding 3 toppings would be 1/3 of the coverage for each. End Result … fair value & happy customers.

Saving Box Tops … if we buy 10 pies we get the 11th free but that would be $382.50 or $34.77 for each pie including the free one.

Wishing you well but unfortunately we will not be returning.

As a proud Jersey girl on a work trip, stepping into Carlos Pizza was like a nostalgic journey to my favorite childhood spot—the boardwalk at the Jersey Shore. At Carlos, I not only found a slice of home but also tasted a bit of heaven with their outstanding pizza. The wings were a delightful surprise- thick, juicy, tender, light crisp with sriracha maple . The meatballs? Simply divine. Even the salad was delicious! Fresh mozzarella cheese. Mmm. Definitely all quality ingredients. The only drawback was limited seating, but the impeccable staff and their warm customer service made up for it. The music and decor added to the fun, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of my cherished childhood memories “down the shore.” Highly recommend this haven for anyone craving an authentic taste of New Jersey pizza. You’ll be glad you did ❤️

Having tried many pizzas, we fell for Carlo’s pizzas at first bite. We’re huge fans of their pizza. My husband and I frequently go there on dates, and we always leave feeling satisfied. Recommended!

We were genuinely excited to support Carlos Pizza. We stumbled upon the place on the eve of one of the brothers’ weddings and met one of the brothers and his girlfriend. As fellow Northerners (PA/NJ), it felt refreshing, and we were happy to support a local spot.

That goodwill was completely erased today.

After being sick all day and not eating until 5 PM, I had my daughter pick up pizza. From the moment she ordered, the self described owner, Joey, was short and abrupt with her—continuously walking away mid-interaction and staying glued to a phone call because one of their systems was down. Watching someone handle food while holding a phone to their ear is questionable at best.

The pizza itself was dry, tough, hard to chew, and overcooked, with very little cheese or sauce—especially unacceptable given the price.

When I called to report the issue, Joey was defensive, aggressive, and out right rude. He cut me off repeatedly, abruptly put me on hold, and told me not to “waste my time” bringing the pizza back but to send photos instead. I knew then that he was unwilling to offer support butI sent both pictures and a video.

He then called back to argue. Joey insisted he personally put the cheese on the pizza, that he cut it himself, and proceeded to give me Pizza Making 101, explaining why—according to him—the pizza met their standards. He flatly dismissed the visual evidence and refused to even consider, tasting or remaking it.

When I tried to explain our positive first experience in meeting one of the brothers and his girlfriend on the eve of a big wedding for us both to soften the conversation, he snapped back, “That was all the way back in October. I don’t know who you met.”

The conversation ended when he abruptly said he “needed to get back to making pizzas,” in an entitled, nasty tone—as if a paying customer raising a legitimate concern was an inconvenience. I told him plainly: No problem. You don’t need my business, and I don’t need your food. I won’t be returning.

This wasn’t just bad pizza. It was poor hygiene awareness, an aggressive attitude, and a complete lack of customer service. Today, they failed on all fronts. I totally expected another defensive response, but hopeful that this will reach Someone with the right heart. Middle

Pizza can be remade.
Character cannot.

Bought through Door Dash. Took 2 hours. Pep pizza tasty, but freezing cold. Meatballs tasty, but a little too firm–also cold. Sauce is pretty good. Greek salad good, not great.

Will try again in person.
