I ordered the deboned chicken full plate, and it was honestly one of the most disappointing meals I’ve had. I asked for almond rice, but my order came with plain white rice instead. The chicken was drenched in a thick orange sauce that had a terrible taste and completely overpowered the dish. It also came with tomato, jalapeño, and bell peppers, which made the meal even less enjoyable. The flavors didn’t go well together, and the overall dish was just unappetizing. I was really looking forward to enjoying a good Mediterranean meal, but this experience was very disappointing.

This was disgusting I’m sorry. I’m from MI, I eat Mediterranean all the time, been to many different places all over MI. From Detroit to Dearborn to Grand Rapids, these dishes are generally the same wherever you go. This was genuinely the worst Mediterranean food I’ve ever been served. I’m genuinely wondering if their normal cook disappeared and someone random is cooking because the food was so bad. The rice was plain white rice, there were green bell peppers in the fattoush salad, I ordered hummus with sautéed chicken and the chicken looks like it was boiled, it’s really off putting. My boyfriend ordered the Chicken Peniee Dinner which looks like a breaded chicken in the photo on their menu but this looks like boiled chicken as well and then it’s covered with some sort of pale gravy sauce. It’s very odd. We were flabbergasted. We will not be back.

I called the restaurant at 8:45 and realized that they closed at 9 pm so I hung up early. To my surprise I got a call back from the restaurant and she was so pleasant and assured me it was okay to place an order. The food was amazing— we got the lemon chicken tawook and fattoush salad. Both my best friend and I agreed that it was the best meal we had in a long time. It was a great option after the gym.

Been traveling for two weeks- this place was close to hotel, tonite took take out order. The cashier, so sweet lady! I chose lentil soup and asked her to pair it with a small dinner- she chose for me a chicken and rice plate. So simple, so good!!! 20$ and could suffice me for two meals easily.

I ordered the shawarma combo and the lamb and chicken were a bit overcooked. A few of the lamb chunks were also grisly. Wife had the chicken Shish Tawook (which oddly, is hard to order online – I had to call and explain). She said it was tasty and juicy.
The rice was tasty, although I was hoping for slivered almonds. Humus was decent, although not the best. It was an online order and the person who answered the phone was very sweet.

I don’t normally leave raving reviews… But this place was fantastic. The lamb was fresh along with everything else. The portions were huge, but I couldn’t stop eating the lamb, literal meat sweats as I’m writing this. Visit this place! Well worth it!!! PRESERVE PLACES LIKE THIS, MEDITERRANEAN WAS NOT MEANT TO BE FAST FOOD. This place does it right! The owners are nice and clearly appreciate the food they make and their customers!

Great Lamb Chops!!! A small place with a great attitude!! Server is super nice and attentive even when is extraordinary busy with the “to go” orders that are plenty. Flavor was right, the cook them was right and the portion size was the right one too. Very clean place, around 12 seating tables, lots of parking spaces makes it ideal for stop while driving by.

Please find your way to this great little restaurant tucked between Value Center and Powerhouse Gym in MH. The food is awesome and the owners are hard-working and kind people. Portions are generous and every bite is delicious. If you don’t know what to order, I recommend you try the Mediterranean combo so you can experience everything.
