Based in the heart of ATL at Ponce City Market, Umbrella Bar serves (quick) dishes and drinks inspired by what you would find at a hip stall in a Korean Night Market! Guests can enjoy kimbap, bibimbap, meats on sticks, fried Korean corn dogs, and more alongside Korean beers, soju, and creative plays on Korean cocktails, like Melona (a South Korean ice pop) Slushies. Umbrella Bar features an island counter in the center of Ponce City Market’s newest food hall, with an adjacent bar counter connected by an alleyway of colorful umbrellas suspended from the ceiling. Fun barstool seating will be available at both the island and bar counters.

José took our order and he was very kind and friendly. Ordered the half and half hot dog and mozzerella and when I got my order, it was covered with sugar instead of regular. Went back and asked about it and it was an honest mistake and said I was fine. Jose made me another one for free. Customer service was excellent and was a fun and delicious experience. Would go again!

Fun twist on Korean fast food. The half and half corn dog is half giant mozzarella stick and half great dog w/ fresh panko coating on top of the batter. The bulgogi tots were generous and emphasized the savory over the sweet. Great service really rounded out the experience. Great for a fun informal date night or, suspringly, introducing the kids to a new cuisine. Highly recommended.

got a bibimbap with crispy spam and a bulgogi philly dog. the bibimbap was quite fresh and delicious, but i’d pass on the spam. the dog was insane. i’d HIGHLY recommend it, but eat it quick or the bread will get a little soggy. the servers seemed a little irritated, and i think ordering at the bar makes things a little more complicated than they need to be, but the food is good enough to sway this.

Very cute side bar in Ponce City Market! The bar tender was so informative and just a wealth of knowledge – she was more of a mixologist than a bartender, if that makes sense. But I love bourbon and she taught me the proper way to drink it and how to experience bourbon, which was everything. Stop through for cute cocktail and a whole vibe. I will be back!

Wow, I can’t even describe how amazing this chicken was! Honestly, I’m still thinking about it. The flavor was on point, perfectly seasoned, juicy, and just all-around delicious. I can’t believe I didn’t go for the chicken sandwich, though! That’s definitely going to be next on my list. There was just something about the vibe at the Umbrella Bar that made everything taste even better—great atmosphere, cool vibes, and the perfect spot to enjoy some seriously good food.

From the moment I took that first bite, I knew I was in for something special. The crispy exterior paired with the tender, flavorful chicken inside was like a match made in heaven. And let’s not forget the sides—everything came together perfectly. The Umbrella Bar’s energy made it a whole experience, not just a meal. The staff were friendly, the music was spot-on, and the view added the perfect touch to the whole vibe. I’ll definitely be back, no question. Whether it’s to try that chicken sandwich or just to soak in the good vibes again, I’m already planning my next visit. What a vibe!

Food was great, and AJ, who took my order at the bar, was very polite. The cooks were extremely quick with the food, and it tasted amazing. Excellent service all around!

I’ve had this Korean corn dog maybe 6 months ago and I was so excited to come back here to have it again. Unfortunately, my experience was no where near as close to the first time. Waited 30 min for 2 original Korean dogs on a Friday at 2:30pm. It is lunch hour and there was only one person working so we did give some grace and sat patiently. Then the food comes. Absolutely disappointed that we waited 30 minutes and my food is undercooked. The hot dog sliding all over the place and the dough still raw inside.

The restaurant feel and decor is dope, but the customer service and food are underwhelming.

The steak was flavorful but overcooked, and the roll was hard. The rice tasted undercooked.

I asked the cashier to describe the size of the tots I considered getting and he said it’s big. I asked him to show me, but he repeated himself before I repeated and asked to demonstrate with his hands. Maybe he was having a day, I am not sure, but he definitely gave a vibe that he’d rather be elsewhere.

I’m good on returning, considering there are plenty of other options at PCM.

I was visiting Georgia from Florida on vacation. I decided to step out and enjoy myself by visiting well known tourist spots. Ponce City Market was on my list. My close friend and I went so I could experience it and what it has to offer. While walking around, we noticed Umbrella Bar. Now to be honest, I was skeptical because the signs was in a foreign language but nonetheless, we sat down and was met by Ivy. I seen the menu and noticed some familiar food. She was really sweet, courteous, informative, funny. and dope! I ordered the Bibimpap – Buttered Shrimp. I requested certain things to be take out. Now I will say, the Spicy Korean Sauce whooped my butt. LOL!! Literally left my nose running – that’s how you know something is spicy but somehow I ordered the sauce and missed the “spicy” part of the Spicy Korean Sauce. Don’t ask me how I managed to do that. Must’ve been the alcohol – LOL! She offered to bring me a different sauce which allowed me to be a “big back” because within seconds the food was done after that – LOL! The drink was great. I ordered the Pina Colada frozen drink and added alcohol to it. Ivy poured the right mixof everything! We were all making conversation and telling jokes. One thing I appreciated the most is her helping to charge my phone because as a Type 1 Diabetic, I need my phone to monitor my sugar and take insulin. She helped charge it, made bomb drinks, gave great suggestions, and provided amazing customer service too. The atmosphere is chilled, plenty room to dine and eat, a bit chilly inside, located on the 2nd floor near The Roof, and has great music too! Such a causal spot to go with friends and hang.
