I was a little worried because the price seemed high for what the menu offerings were. But we were pleasantly surprised that the price merits the flavors, service and portions. A perfect place for dinner before/after a movie.

I’ve been making my way through the Yelp Charlotte Top 100 list so we came here for a happy hour.
It wasn’t crowded when we first got there, but as it got later it got quite a bit more crowded. Our service was great. The waiter was incredibly friendly.
The food menu is fairly small. We went with the Corner Bar BBQ Burger and the Fried Southern Chicken Bites. Both were pretty good. I think the burger could have been even better, but we asked for it medium rare and it came medium well. The toppings on it were great. The chicken was a little dry, but the sauce and toppings were good.
We also got the Cinnamon Sugar pretzels for dessert which I really liked. They came with a cream cheese frosting that was amazing.
A couple of other things I sampled that were good that others ordered: the Bacon Gouda Fries and the Brussels Sprouts.
Overall, this is nice bar with elevated bar food.

This place is amazing! The peach glazed chicken and grits was so flavorful and tender. Juicy chicken breast paired with fried grit cakes and a light fruity glaze of perfection. I must also give a shout out to the sirloin kabobs which were delicious. I even saved room for the cookie dough cheesecake which was love at first bite!

The Cross Bar was an unexpected find on my most recent trip to Charolette. The atmosphere and aesthetic are what you’d expect from a local bar.
The team member Alan made this experience extra special. The fast service, great recommendations, and all around service makes this a must stop for anyone in the area.

I really enjoyed the aesthetic of this bar. Perfect bar hours and the serving staff were sociable. The first day we came, I had tried a cocktail, and that made me return for another day. The second day I spent almost double because of the atmosphere alone.

I came in when the kitchen had closed. We ordered drinks and sat and watched the place fill up with merriment. After 2 drinks, I became peckish and realized they need to offer late nite bites. Nothing fancy, just stuff for us to nibble on….
