Stinky’s has the best buffalo chicken salad in Pittsburgh. There, I said it.
I usually get it with blue cheese crumbles subbed for the normal mozz and cheddar. It is the best bang for your buck, and quantity, texture, and flavor. You won’t regret it.
Karaoke on Friday rules.
Val and Paul are superstars.
P.s. the bartender ladies are so sweet and attentive!
Bartenders were attentive and informative (I didn’t know a lot about all the kinds of beers available there). The big game was on, but it wasn’t too crowded to be able to enjoy conversations with friends and a place to put your meal.
Parking can be tight, and it really is in the heart of a residential area, so watch your volume after leaving (I know some of us somehow get louder after a pint). Lots of tables placed in different sections of the restaurant made it feel like you could move around and weren’t crammed in.
Really, the only negative thing I can say is to the taller gents-watch your head coming out of the men’s room. Wish they would put a pad on the wall there. Ouch!
Went here mid-afternoon on a Sunday. Now with it being football season, you would think their service would be on point. Nope. Quite the opposite. We sat ourselves. Table of 4. It wasn’t too busy. It took them 30 minutes to get our order. After that, the food took another 30 minutes. We finished our drinks in the meantime. Took them forever to get us refills. The food was below average. Their prices are good, but everything was just terrible. The fries? Cold. Hand cut chips? They were okay. I got a chicken salad and there was barely any chicken on it. The wedding soup was weirdly acidic? Couldn’t eat it. Just downright bad.
Additionally, the two customers were adding up the bill, and a barmaid complained about a $35 tip being a strategy to undercut their fair share. It’s mind-blowing to see the sanctimony and entitlement of people who should be courteous and professional. Tips are earned, guys. Know that.
