I really enjoy this restaurant; It gives an at home feel. The half chicken if my go to order here! It’s full of flavor, cooked to protection and paired wonderfully with the green salsa! Very one so welcoming and upon arrival. I’m not much of a fan of the rice and beans due to the rice being on the dryer side.

I was very impressed with the food taste, quality, and quantity! It tasted home made! The tortillas soup was amazing and they didn’t hold back on ingredients with lots of chicken, avocados, cheese, sides, etc.
My fiance got the birria tacos and they were big and very well filled with an awesome dipping sauce! The meats taste like smoked or grilled with lots of infused flavor!
The place is not fancy, just cute true Mexican neighborhood type, but it accommodates just fine with lots of space, chairs, and booths, plus they cater!
You can see the owner working and greeting people, which makes it extra especial and warms the heart to see how proud he is to see people leaving satisfied!

Where do I start… I make this review as a person who is NOT a fan of Tex-Mex. Catrina Grill is great Mexican food… it’s refreshing. Their chips and queso (blanco) were amazing! Their chips are probably the best I’ve ever had. Their Barilla tacos are incredible! Definitely a must, if you’re a taco person. Their baked potato (order with carne asada, chefs kiss!) was soft all the way throughout it, which isn’t a common experience for me. We got their Pastor street tacos, a great serving size! Their Tres Leches Cake is sooo good. We also had their Horchata and that was a favorite. Such a welcoming family owned business. They had great customer service for how busy they were, both inside and their drive-thru. Only “bad” thing was the building is HOT. It’s also 112* outside and they were cooking up a storm. We’ll be eating here consistently, just pickup orders until this heat dies down.

This Mexican restaurant is as authentic as it gets, the tacos are very well priced and they are delicious. There is no sour cream or cheese that is put on top, so you know these are real Mexican tacos. You can have a full meal for about $13, this includes 5 tacos and a half a littler of Mexican Coca Cola. The place is huge compared to other hole in the wall restaurants, there are also other shops around. Also, you can listen to the oldies Mexicans songs, from rancheras, rock pop and others. I highly recommend this place. Customer service is fast and efficient.

Saw a video of this place on TikTok. Gonna be real here if it wasn’t for TikTok. I probably wouldn’t have ever stepped foot in here. I had seen the video a couple of weeks back but hadn’t had a chance to hit it up. We’ll today was the day, and I was gonna try it. Location is about 5 miles away from my place. I finished my workout and said to myself Catarina it is! Showered up, got dressed, and drove over. Place was about to close and got here around 8:30ish. There were 3 people i side ordering.
Checked out the menu while i waited and knew what I wanted. Staff was friendly and asked what I wanted. I ordered a street taco plate and a taco birria plate. Got to compliment location. This place was super clean and well kept. Got my order pretty fast. Got home and feasted. Let me tell you the food was fantastic.
Both plates were stuffed with meat paid about 20ish bucks but well worth it. Flavors were on point, and the corn tortillas looked homemade. You can also buy flour and corn tortillas to go as well as pastries.

Delicious! I finally found a good taco spot in Dallas. They have the best tacos & Birria tacos ever! If you’re looking for some good food this is the place for you! I went back 2-3 times for the week it was so good!

Saw the viral TikTok and had to stop in and try it. The food was delicious and the service was exceptional. We loved the birria tacos and half chicken. The green creamy salsa is some of the best in the city. We covered everything in that it was so good. Can’t wait to visit again and try more of their menu.

We have placed previous order from here before. And we gave it the benefit of the doubt when they gave us a plate of mole enchiladas with dried chicken. We called today to place an order for a chicken sandwich and the lady on the phone was basically explaining what came on a torta and seemed annoyed when she was asked what all came in it. The approach and customer service was not there. And then after asking about mole enchiladas they weren’t sure if they had any… please keep in mind that customer service goes along way and it pushes customers not want to spend money.

I love the birria tacos here! And the fresh tortillas.
Given that, I was excited to try their breakfast. I pulled up and asked if they had breakfast burritos. The lady at the window says yes. She asked what I would like inside, I said bacon and potato and I’d like 2 of them.
Instead I received 2 tacos. One with bacon one with potatoes. I left with my food and not 1 min goes by and the bottom of the bag is completely soaked in oil. I take the tacos that I didn’t order out of the bag and they are swimming in oil. So much for a quick breakfast in my car before work! I don’t think I’ll be back for breakfast at all.
