Came in shortly before closing time, felt bad about it but i was craving a steak and cheese! However the sweet ladies were very kind! i didn’t feel rushed, and was met with smiles! Instead of just shouting my order number from behind the counter- one girl nicely walked it all the way over to me- that’s great customer service! Thank you ladies! ☺️

Santini’s New York Style Deli located in Sterling, VA is reminiscent of the New York delis in many respects, but from an ambiance perspective its not the same. Not to say that is a problem, I am very familiar with delis in New York. This deli is laid back and pleasant with a very friendly staff. The interior of it is better than any New York deli I’ve seen, so that’s a plus. The decorative she of the restaurant is New York teams, so if your missing home you won’t here. The pictures,pictures, and televisions running sports activities is not overbearing, but subtle so as not to alienate non-sports enthusiasts. Now, the food is good, with a variety of choices of a local pizzeria. But be advised the servings are large, so you’d better come with an appetite. I ordered the Santini calzone with pepperoni, Italian sausage with ricotta cheese and mozzarella. It’s large an appetizing especially with the Mariana sauce on the side served warm. So, I have then the tasting I did because the overtake experience was very good.

Great place for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It was a bit busy for lunch, folks were seated and taking orders to go. I ordered a lamb gyro, fries and a drink. It was all a la carte instead of a combo. Plenty of food to keep you full. Tasty, hot food. The employees were nice, pleasant and helpful.

The calzones are incredible, with plenty of meat inside. Sometimes I mix it up with the steak and cheese sub, which is also very good. They have 5 kinds of fries, which are always very plentiful. My favorite is the brew city fries.
They also often have Junior’s cheesecake, but with the size of the meals, I usually take that to go.

Oh man, awesome place. From pizzas, calzones to subs. All New York style. Very clean and customer service was on point. Great tasting food all around. Price is moderate. Good for the whole family. I strongly suggest.

Service was poor. 3 ladies working looked upset and unhappy to be there . I walked up and they spoke Spanish amongst each other, bare acknowledged me and took my payment.
Then a few other customers walked up after me and they were much more pleasant after they spoke Spanish. Food was subpar.

Picked up food for delivery, and part of the order was a sandwich we requested without cheese. Received the order, and when we double-checked the sandwich, it had cheese.
There was some attitude from the cook, was handed re-made sandwich without a word from another employee. No apology or anything. Felt awkward but let it go.
When we got home to enjoy a slice of cake, however, there was paper inside the cake layers. Yikes.
Reston location is so much better.

I tried their philly cheesteak and it was awesome! The 8 inch is enough but if youre truly hungry for the footlong. It is mostly self-served but the contact with the staff was excellent.
