Wow. Speechless. Had no idea we had a German Food Truck in Sandpoint?! My ex husband is German so we have eaten authentic German cuisine from all over Germany and Austria – this was on par with the best they had to offer. I ordered the last of the Kase Spaetzle w/caramelized onions ($15.90) and an original German Sausage ($5). I wanted my daughter to try my favorite part of German cuisine. She loved it. Said the texture and taste were amazing and plans to return to order again. Really nice to have ethnic cuisine options that aren’t the ‘norm’. Highly recommend. The quality is worth the price. And that’s not typical.

I wish I could give this place a million stars! We had the schnitzel and sauerkraut- this meal was life changing. My husband is German, so it is hard to impress him. This was easily the best schnitzel we have had state side. Amazing service, incredible food! Will come every time we are in Sandpoint!

Get the currywurst! It is so delicious!
The owner makes much of it from scratch and is from Munich, so everything is legit.
We got the schnitzel plate and currywurst both were delicious, but the currywurst is unique and so good. Not spicy but a tomato/smokey flavor.

I spent over two years living in Germany back in the 80s. When I smelled the currywurst she prepared it took me back all those years! Excellent food and service. If you like German, specifically Bavarian food, or just want to try it, you cannot go wrong here! This is authentic.

Wonderful little place! INCREDIBLE food & the best hospitality I’ve EVER had at a food truck. The owner is so kind and uses the best ingredients for her food. I would definitely try the Schnitzel with the INCREDIBLE mushroom sauce, I promise it is the best you’ll have around here!

We are not food-truck patrons, but there’s not a lot of good restaurants around here, so we stopped at this quaint little trailer on the side of the road, and we were very glad we did. It’s difficult to find German restaurants to begin with, and we’re usually disappointed by them. Not here. This is the real deal, with everything totally fresh, hot and lovingly hand made by Irene, the super-nice German lady who owns the place. Yes, you sit at a picnic table outdoors, but it’s easy to imagine you’re in the Alps. The food is excellent. You’ll be pleasantly surprised!

The owner is an incredibly friendly and charming woman. The little touches of Germany homeland make the experience even more special.
