We had a delicious lunch here. I ordered the yellow daal and the Aloo Muttar. Both were well balanced in flavor and the spice level was exactly what we expected. The garlic naan was soft on the inside with a well done outside. The service was attentive and friendly. It is clear this is a smaller family owned operation, and i love supporting local business.
The atmosphere is a little rustic, but as long as your company is good, you will have a great meal here.

I ordered from Skip the Dishes and usually the food is good. My most recent order was terrible. The Samosas were so greasy that I could not eat them. I can provide a picture if you want proof. The chow mein was so spicy that I couldn’t eat it. Chow mein is not supposed to be spicy. This is the first time that the Butter Chicken was greasy. There were large areas of grease in the sauce.

They said it was a ginger fiber and I don’t believe them .. It looked and felt like a silver white beard or arm pit maybe even a nether region hair. I am grossed out and will never order from here again. The preps and cooks need to be wearing ALL kinds of different hair nets and covering the arms as well. We recently visited Haveli Indian Cuisine for a dine-in experience with a group of 10 people, and it was absolutely wonderful! Our server, Komal, was amazing very attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. The food was delicious, full of authentic flavors, and served fresh and hot. Everyone in our group loved their dishes. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, perfect for a family or group gathering. Don’t recommend and not happy at all with this restaurants quality or service. We’ve ordered a second time to give them another chance but it’s not worth the time or money. Chicken pakoras were stale and chewy because they mixed old ones with fresh ones the butter chicken didn’t taste anything like last time- there’s no consistency and the chicken karahi had cream and mixed vegetables that weren’t even listed in the menu description, meat dishes barley have meat and the pieces are tiny. The naan was scorched on the back side and had rocks that went into our mouth as we ate. When we brought this up the owner Sushant just laughed. They don’t care and the staff is busy talking amongst themselves and don’t even check up while dining to see if we were happy or wanted anything else – no refills on the water.

ordered from uber eats last night. Abysmal experience with Haveli Cuisine in Vernon. Ordered dal makhni, and it was a catastrophic disappointment. The dish was a pale imitation of the rich, creamy goodness I once knew. Flavor? What flavor? It tasted like someone microwaved a can of bland beans and called it a day. The naan was stale and tasteless, like it’d been sitting out for hours.
The ‘special’ spices they claim to use? Complete joke. Zero depth, zero complexity. Just a sorry excuse for authentic Indian cuisine.
At this point, I’m convinced the kitchen’s on autopilot, churning out subpar slime to unsuspecting customers. $20 for this? Unacceptable.
Owner, take a long, hard look at your menu and kitchen. Get it together or get out. The people of Vernon deserve better.
