I have been getting delivery from the Winter Haven Papa Johns for years. We do the typical pizza Friday. The people pizza used to be the best in town with the best prices. It was great. But they have switched to using DoorDash delivery and tonight might be our last Papa Johns ever. The problem is we waited forever. The app showed it was on its way and it took us almost 45 minutes to figure out it was delivered and just sitting at the door just no one rang or knocked on the door. So we got a few ants in the pizza, but it was too late to order anything else. Just hope we can do a little better on delivery next time.

Horrible store horrible pizza horrible employees they need to fire all of them and rehire people with some sort of decency and work ethic. I ordered 4 pizzas and they all are burnt and taste and look horrible. I ordered 4 original crust pizzas, they weren’t original crust not even thin crust they are burnt disgusting crust pizzas photos don’t lie.

We decided to order from Papa John’s because we wanted something different from our usual pizza place; I can say our experience was different from our expectations. We ordered at almost 5pm and the app said it would be about 45 minutes. When it was 6:10 we called the store to make sure our order was placed and were told by the manager that they were running a little behind. We were patient, which is troublesome with a 9 year old and two 8 year olds, but we were able to keep them calm.
Two hours after we ordered the pizza finally showed up. My wife’s food was burnt she the rest was undercooked.
We have no incentive to ever order from this place again. The service is terrible, the food was nasty, and that’s pretty bad for the extra food expense of choosing to eat at a Papa John’s.

The owner responded to my review and provided their email so they could reach out and make it right. I sent my info and still have not heard back, not a single word. I see the owner has sent the same responses to other negative reviews and now I’m curious if other reviewers have had the same result. I’m hoping it’s not a ploy just to appear as if they are resolving issues on reviews when in fact they are not.

Friday night for the most part is typically pizza night. This particular night I bought Papa John’s pizza from Winter Haven Papa John’s. My wife and I decided if we wanted to try their new papa bowls. We ordered the Italian meats and the chicken Alfredo bowls along with some other pizzas and sides. When my wife returned home with the pizza and I pulled the bowls out of the sleeves that they were packaged in the Italian meats one looked great. The chicken Alfredo one looks like somebody’s leftovers. I called the store to inform them after I had taken a picture of the bowls.  The manager of the store asked me to bring the bowl back along with the pictures that I had taken so that they could see for themselves. I hopped in my car and headed back to Papa Johns. When I got there I showed the pictures of the pizza bowl and the girl looked at the pizza bowl that I brought back and then asked me if I had any pictures from before we ate any of it. I told her that we did not eat any of it and that this is what it looked like as soon as we got it home and took it out of the sleeve. She informed me that they do not send any products out that look like this. I reiterated that we did not eat any of it and that everything else looked great but that this one came like this and looked like someone’s leftovers. Once again she told me that nothing leaves their store looking like that. I asked her if she was calling me a liar and why I would do this for just half a pizza bowl. I had ordered 2 other pizzas, another pizza bowl, and 3 sides. Why would I complain about just half of a pizza bowl if there was nothing wrong with it when we got it? She then rudely said that she remade it, grabbed the pizza bowl I brought back with me and walked off. I do not remember this girl’s name, but that was terrible customer service and I believe I should have been warranted the benefit of the doubt. I literally do not understand what I would have had to gain from complaining about half a pizza bowl and driving all the way back to the store, just for half a pizza bowl. I understand not everyone is honest and will do some shady things or straight up wrong things just to get ahead. But half a pizza bowl? Really? Being basically called a liar over half a pizza bowl? I spent almost $80 for this dinner and I just wanted to have quality food and service. I’m very disappointed. We have been loyal customers to this particular store for quite some time and now this experience has me questioning if I ever want to order food from this establishment again.

Had door dash delivery, and my pizza wasn’t even warm. Was ready at 410 and disnt get to my place for 28 minutes. On a bad day its 10 minutes. Guess this store is a total joke.

It’s supposed to be HOT. Today, I ordered a large pizza with bacon. It has no sauce(because it’s overcooked). I’m not sure why they forgot to put more than a piece of bacon on each slice, but that’s a failure. They should go to robots since it’s proven that the humans you have working for you have NO IDEA how to make a pizza correctly. This has to be the most dried out pizza I’ve ever seen. I should have looked at all the terrible reviews before I ordered from here. I’ll be sticking with any pizzas besides a PAPA John’s. If I were you, I wouldn’t order from here. It will be a total waste of your time and MONEY. It’s pretty bad when you have to throw away a pizza and make something else for dinner since this store is a total JOKE and has a problem doing one of the easiest jobs in the world. They seriously should go to robots. I bet they can put sauce from end to end, LIKE IT SHOULD BE. I bet they could put the correct amount of toppings on the ENTIRE .《That right there has more toppings than my pizza did.
I don’t know how a manager could let a dried up and burnt pizza be given to a customer. I could have gone to Publix right next to this and bought a frozen pizza that would have be better than this worthless pizza I paid 12$ for.

The GM is nice. That’s where the positives end.
Ordered at 9:20, ordered “on the way & expected to be delivered at 10:13, got a text at 10:05 that the order was “missing”, called the store & no one knew where my order was or who picked it up, after 10 mins of talking & back & forth the GM said they would re-make it & send it.
11:05 order arrived & get this- – – WRONG ORDER!!! Yep. Called back at 11:09 & GM had “no idea” how that happened. Refund or they might be able to remake again??
Remake for the 3rd time is the decision- just for giggles this time. So that was 11:15 (3rd order placed). It arrived at 12:45AM. Joke. Unprofessional. I’m kinda speechless on this.
Lemon pepper wings are absolutely disgusting & drenched in buffalo sauce.
Avoid. They are rated a 3.0 or whatever it is for a reason.
