Finally got to go experience Boss ChickNbeer. My expectations were completely beat. Matt and his crew at the Falls location were nothing less than wonderful. Matt was super excited to educate us on everything there was to know about the place & food, gave amazing recommendations and was so very friendly. His whole team seemed happy to be there and you can tell the type of manager he is because of that vibe. The chicken fingers were insane, wings out of this world. Not to mention I was so excited to drink a GOOD tasting GF beer. can’t wait to come back.

Pros: the theme is so fun. Not sure if it’s always 1980’s/1990’s hip hop, but we enjoyed it. The cards were enjoyable to pick out and read. Also love the tea is free as a huge unsweetened iced tea fan. My husband enjoyed their cola.
The food was delicious! We’re not gf, so that’s not a selling point for us, but if you are and you want great, flavorful options, this is the place for you. We went on a Tuesday and got the wings n tenders special. So much food! You can definitely split between 2 people, but we each got our own so we could try our own sides and have leftovers. I got the Brussels Sprouts (divine!) And my husband got the chili cheese fries. The seasoning on the fries was super tasty. I got a side of queso for mine and that was yummy as well.
The cons: the wait. We were told it would be a 10-15 minute wait. We waited 45 minutes for our food. It really killed the experience for us. They weren’t very busy, so they must have been understaffed. There were two people working. Two gentlemen came in together after us and placed a to-go order. I wonder if they were regulars or what, but they ended up getting their food before us, and a ton of it, two full bags. That was super frustrating with how long we waited.
The sauces weren’t great. The containers were super small so it was difficult to dip your wings in. If you like spicy, this is not the place for you. I got the Ghostface killah ranch and the jalapeño buffalo and neither were remotely spicy. I actually checked the lid of the ghostface to see if I had been given regular ranch, it was that mild. My husband however, thought the spice on the wings had some heat, so if you have a tender tongue you’ll probably be fine with the heat here.
The music was really loud. It was blasting from a Bluetooth speaker on the water table. Could have stood to be turned down a bit. Everyone had to shout over it to talk to each other, so my husband and I both left with a headache. I feel like an old lady saying that, but I’m not lol. It was just really loud.

Excellent wings and sides. I ordered a pound of wings with jalapeno buffalo and blue cheese on the side. They do not toss wings in sauce. Wings are cooked perfectly and the dry rub is great. Ordered Brussels sprouts and fries for sides. Both were great and will order again. Definitely recommend and will return.

This place is equal parts lifesaver, AND answer to all my prayers!
I’ve been gluten free for about 7 years now, and the one thing I can never find a decent replacement for is chicken tenders. I’m traveling through the area on my way back to NC, and both my husband and I were exhausted and starving. I pulled up this restaurant, and thought it was too good to be true that the whine place is gluten free (minus a couple items).
John at the register was so helpful with navigating the menu, and gave us all of his personal favorite recommendations. Since I was too sleep deprived to make my own decisions, I just went with all of his recommendations, and I’m so glad I did!
I got the Boss Mac (secret menu) and the Peach Party Tea (alcoholic). Both were amazing! Noodles were perfectly cooked, cheese sauce was just the right combo of cheesy and rich, chicken tenders were moist and tender, and the gold sauce was to die for.
My husband ordered the Hot Chick Sandwich (not a gluten free bun) and thoroughly enjoyed it as well.
Portions are great, flavors are on point, prices are reasonable, and staff are excellent. My only critique is that the building is a bit loud and echoes pretty bad.

We were greeted right away, it wasn’t packed at all, and too bad it was too hot to sit outside because that is a option. The manager was so dope- went over the menu and explained the gluten free options for me. Biting into the cauliflower I seriously thought it was chicken! THE GLUTEN-FREE BEER OPTIONS ARE AMAZING!! Hubby had the chicken wings but we had to just HAD to go back and order the tenders. Seasoned perfectly! The vibe is laid back with hip-hop- (old school and new) playing and very clean. We definitely will be back!

Best gluten free fried chicken and sides here! Chicken is always perfectly cooked and juicy, gluten free breading sticks to the chicken, fresh cut fries are seasoned just right! All the fryers are gluten free, so no cross contamination there at all. The staff is warm and welcoming and very knowledgeable on dietary restrictions. They also have a selection of gluten free beers and drinks as well as regular beers. (No full bar, but it’s not really necessary, as they usually have enough variety for most people and have canned cocktails too.)
If you’re in the area, DEFINITELY go here. Even people who do eat gluten love this chicken cause it’s so good!

I love this place! The food is delicious and the staff is so kind! Specifically, I had the pleasure of interacting with Sarah and Matt (I think that was his name- sorry if I misremembered!) As someone with celiac, it’s so hard to find places to eat out. I am also allergic to garlic, and a lot of the food here has garlic in it, but Sarah went out of her way to make me fries without seasoning and even some delicious friend Brussels with queso for me to try! The mac and cheese is also free of garlic and is so yummy and rich! Thank you all for being so accommodating!
