Went for first visit last night. Arrived shortly after 5PM and were seated immediately. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu items and made suggestions for ordering.

One of us gave a verbal description of a Cuban dish they were looking for but wasn’t on the menu. They were able to modify an existing menu item to be a good approximation of the requested dish, and that’s really excellent customer service in a world where most places will simply shrug and say “no substitutions”!

Drinks and appetizers were good – the Sangria looked and smelled delicious, so I’ll be ordering that next visit.

I had beef empanadas for appetizer and Trifongo with Coconut Shrimp (pictured) for the entree. Delicious and visually appealing, with very generous portions. Everyone’s food was clearly handmade with care.

Five stars for customized dish and really high level customer service.

Best homemade mama’s Dominican food. Everything we ordered down to the desserts were amazingly good. Highly recommended if you come to visit Kennedy Space Center. This small family owned place has dishes that they’ve kept in the family and now make it for us to eat. It’s really hard to find authentic home food that’s made with fresh ingredients. It’s not overly flavored, salted, or oiled. Also, nothing is spicy unless you want it to be. So you can customize to your own spicy level. The server was super friendly and I felt like I was eating at her house. Be sure to ask about the desserts. It wasn’t in the menu but that was the biggest surprise to have fresh homemade desserts offered to order, flan, tres leches, bread pudding.

I do have to say .. the place doesn’t represent a fine dining.. so if that’s want you want it’s surely not here .. but if what you want is true authentic Dominican home made finger licking great food … here is your place .

I do have to say that the food was amazing . The background music was on the spot .. God Bless them .. I truly will come back ..
the cost per plate was very reasonable.
The seating was fare ..
the desert was on the spot . Wow

Plenty parking

Probably THE place to get Dominican food. Our server was prompt and attentive. She recommended the Sancocho which my wife loved. It tasted very fresh with a bit of a kick. I had the Cuban sandwich. Not the best I’ve had, but not bad. We also ordered a couple empanadas which came out fast and hot. The atmosphere needs a lot of work, so go for the food.

Today we went in and got lunch & it was amazing! We got 5 meals, 2 appetizers, 2 empanadas & 2 drinks, for only $107! The owner helped us, and she was so sweet. The portions are huge, everything was so delicious & flavorful. I’m so glad we came across this restaurant, we can’t wait to come back!
We got: steak & onions, mofongo w/ pork, fried pork chunks & Cuban sandwich 🙂

The food is hands down amazing! The stewed chicken was so flavorful. Black beans had great flavor. The server was very helpful and polite. The inside decor is old, but you don’t come here to look at the decor! The food is the star!
