L & R Soda Bar is one of my wife and mine favorite places to eat. The food is always good and the vibe of the restaurant is relaxing. There is a retro feel to it with all of the vintage Coca-Cola items, and the “oldies” that are normally playing. This most recent visit, I got the double cheese burger with fries. The fries are deliciously seasoned and crispy, they are good enough that you don’t need to have ketchup with them. The ice-cream is amazing as well. All around a great local restaurant.

We started with the fried pickles as an appetizer, then the Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich with Sweet potato fries and homemade Carmel, and a Cheese Burger Wrap.
Finished it if with the traditional Banana Split-DELICIOUS
So worth the 20 minute drive from Clarksville, will definitely be back.

First time eating here and we were very pleased. Love the atmosphere of the 1940’s Era Soda Shop. Lots of great options on the menu. Our burgers and fries were fresh and cooked perfectly. The sundaes were delicious. We will definitely be returning to try more of the menu

3.5 stars for atmosphere because the large corner table (the one by the juke box & left of the front door) needs to be tightened, replaced or repaired. It’s so wobbly. We had a party of 7, everyone was hungry, so we stayed at it.

First time I’ve been, my husband had been telling me about it for awhile so we went and tried it we swears by their burgers definitely and mom and pops feeling but down right good food, the staff treats you like family and they have tons of options from food to dessert and soda.

Went there with a large group. There was another large group already seated. They were so cool about it. The staff made it work and was able to seat the people waiting behind us as well. I felt welcomed. The service was friendly and our food came out together. It was nice to see the staff assisting one another.
The food was delicious and came out hot. Ordered a Patty Melt with Fries. In most places, it would’ve been greasy. Not here. I didn’t need a bunch of napkins. Also, the prices are very reasonable. The atmosphere was light and lively. The decor had a lot of Vintage items throughout. Which gave it a homey feel.
The town itself has that small town Americana feel. It was bustling with activity. I will definitely come back again. Next time I’ll get photos

Wonderful place! If you’re anywhere near Elkton, you’ll want to visit L&R Soda Shop. We got a club sandwich, a burger, and a Turtle Shake. The portions are very generous, and everything was delicious, so we’re already planning another trip back to try more items from the menu. All of the employees are so kind, and they even gave us directions to one of the nearby Mennonite farms.
