My wife and I stopped here on our way back to Wilmington NC for a mid-day driving break. We found a friendly place with great food! Our server Rhiannon helped us select our meals and was very attentive! This gave us the energy to keep on going. My wife had the spaghetti with meat sauce and a great salad while I had the liver and onions and a real treat of Turnip Greens!

Stopped here for breakfast with my husband while in town. We each had the 2x2x2. I had pancakes, Virginia ham, and eggs. My husband had French toast, bacon, and eggs. Although the food was average, the service and atmosphere made up for it. Our waitress was attentive and delightful. I loved the retro diner feel. I would say WATCH YOUR STEP going in to the diner…I tripped and it wasn’t labeled.

Stopped in on the way to the boat show, ordered a basket of shrimp and a basket of clam strips. Wanted to change one of the fries to cole slaw, waitress said she couldn’t but could order as a side so we did. The clam strips were good, the shrimp was ok, the fries were Sysco pressed fries. Well everything was Sysco stuff and not the top shelf stuff. The Cole slaw SUCKED and was $5 for a bowl of it. Ended up $45 for 2 people to get 2 baskets. We won’t be back and I won’t recommend the place to anyone. It used to be a good place to eat but not anymore.

This restaurant is solid. The fried chicken is really good. They have nice crispy fries. The only complaint is that the food took a really long time to come out but overall we enjoyed the experience.

Felt like stepping back in time to a Moment in time of How Thing’s used to be, Oldies Music playing while you are Eating and The Food is Excellent! I had a Cheeseburger Lettuce Tomato and Onion plus pickles with a Side order of Real French Friies Then Iced Tea to wash it all down, What a Enjoyable Experience!!

wait staff was very kind and attentive. unfortunately the food sucked. scrapple was black in a way ive never seen before, hard, and too greasy. biscuits were almost cold, would’ve been nice if they were hot. everything was mediocre at best, seemed like they just unfroze stuff or got it from a supplier. first restaurant in delaware and i think ill wait till pennsylvania to eat lol

i ordered pancakes, bacon, and biscuits and they were pretty good but the rest of my family said their food was cooked horribly. over medium eggs were extremely runny and scrapple looked sad and inedible. unfortunate because i liked the old train car diner atmosphere

Breakfast buffet was good. Staff is so friendly. Beautiful antique cars were there. If you are not a breakfast person, you can’t order non breakfast foods until 11. Some of items on buffet could of been warmer, but it was probably the time we were there. We got there around 1045. Was busy I did notice locals ordered from menu. Probably what I will do next time
