All around the experience was phenomenal!!! Me and my husband eat here twice on our vacation our dude hooked us up with some delicious ginger hibiscus tea (love the ginger def real fruit blend) we got the curry goat with rice and beans and veggies !!! He got the fish with the festival and jerk sauce (coming from a woman who hates fish it was so perfectly seasoned best thing I ever put in my mouth) I feel like i could eat fish because of my guy whipping it up!! The festival with the jerk sauce was so damn good!!!!! I loved everything about the music the vibe was perfect if u don’t like real authentic Jamaican food you probably won’t like it but I grew up eating it and it put me right back in that at home feeling !!!

This is one of the finest spot to dine in Fort Walton Beach. The food is top notch. This spot is natural and refreshing. Very open dining space, good music, clean and authentic. As you can see, these plantains have me hooked. Crispy and well done. Very friendly staff. It’s a whole vibe to experience.

Chef Champion is a must go to. We visit every time we come to Destin. He cooked Ackee and Saltfish for my birthday, and we also had Barbie fried chicken! It was amazing with the festival bread on the side. 10/10 highly recommend. Great customer service. A1 food. Omg! If I could take the whole restaurant back with me, I would. If you haven’t tried Chef Champion…get over there now. Cause. Good lawd!!!

Visiting from Illinois and came across Chef Champion on Spring Break. Customer service from Chef and his daughter was a 10/10 experience. Both were extremely kind and welcoming. Food was amazing, I got the alfredo pasta and added jerk chicken. The food was so good I had to go back a second time before I left to get it again. We waited about 30 minutes each time but the food was hot and fresh and I would wait even longer to eat his food. Overall, I would recommend this place a million times!

Really good food 24/7!! Again 24/7!! Great prices and a great chef. Do check this place out for authentic Jamacian food. In addition, this is mostly a one man show. The chef has skills. Give it a chance even if they are or have been busy during the day. It’s worth it in tbe end.

For $26 I got old tasting meat, ( ribs mixed with chicken) white rice & some slaw type of vegetable. The employee was nice & stated they were out of rice & beans. The menu stated Jerk Chicken was $15 & it comes with 2 sides… not sure what the price difference but definitely not worth the price.

Idk where to start. Yesterday we arrived at the lot because I wanted Tony’s. I was happy to see a Caribbean restaurant but was hungry & didn’t want to chance eating somewhere new while being hungry & end up not liking it. My husband isn’t that picky so he didn’t care & chose Chef Champion Kitchen. It was noon, he wanted fried chicken but was told it would take 20 mins to prep & that he would have the jerk done in about 8 to 10 mins so he went with that. His order consisted of Jerk chicken, rice & peas & corn on the cob (not traditional) but no biggy. He had the special up for Jamaican Pattie’s but claim he didn’t have any (Which was weird that he wouldn’t take the sign down if it wasn’t available). I forgot to order plantains with my order from Tony’s so my husband added a side to his order for me. We waited 30 mins for Jerk chicken that didn’t taste like jerk but rather like barbecue and he forgot my side of plantains that he charged us $5 for. When my husband asked about them he said “I forgot I’ll just go over to Tony’s & get them.” I was annoyed I paid $5 dollars for plantains when I could’ve just paid $3 myself from Tony’s where I originally wanted them from. The entire ordeal wasn’t the best but maybe it was an off day but I wouldn’t drive from Navarre to Ft. Walton to try it again leaving inconsistency to chance.
