Came for the first time and felt right at home! Food was perfect for a tavern. One bite and the pizza says it all! Dylan was a wonderful bartender. So delightful and attentive. Definitely stop here it is with the time!!

Stopped into The Landmark for happy hour on a Friday and had a great experience. Founded in 1882. Shout-out to Adrianna — she was not our waitress but was awesome. Even though she was moving back and forth to the bar getting drinks for customers, she was super attentive and took the time to chat with us. That’s where we got talking, and she really knew the history of the place, which was cool to hear.
Didn’t eat this time, but the food looked legit. The pizza pretzels and bar pies looked great, and they’ve got a real pizza oven — not just stuff getting reheated in a toaster oven. Definitely coming back to try the food.
One small detail I noticed and appreciated: the beer glasses actually matched what you’re drinking. Sounds minor, but most bars just grab whatever glass is closest. Whether that’s policy or just good staff, it shows attention to detail.
The historic vibe and décor are great, and the locals were super friendly — no cold-shoulder “you’re not a regular” feeling at all.
If you’re looking for a solid Jersey spot with character, good people, and attentive waitstaff, this is the place. I’ll be back.

I have driven past this place for 30 yrs and finally had the opportunity to stop in for lunch. Its a very cool historic place with alot of history and character. Has a nice old fashioned bar and plenty of booth seating throughout the place. The food was decent and reasonably priced. Service could use a little improvement as our server had zero personality seemed like in a bad mood but could just have been having a bad day because everyone else on the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming! I will go back and recommend giving this place a try.

On this inaugural venture of the @OldPubClub Steve & Steve and the #Pubbettes decided to checkout @TheLandmarkNJ in #LivingstonNJ This building has been around since before 1882 as a former stagecoach stop and tavern. It has changed owners and names multiple times but has operated as the appropriately named “Landmark” since 1960. Our table had an assortment of tasty cocktails and some well prepared pub fare. The long wooden bar and high back booths really added to the old pub atmosphere. With one wall covered with pictures from past St. Patrick’s ☘️Days, you got the feeling that that is the best day to be there. The service was quick and everyone was so friendly. There was a nice selection of beers and we loved the music. 4 thumbs up from the #OldPubClub #TheLandmark

The margaritas did not meet my expectations and were weaker than anticipated. However, the fries were excellent, and the restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere, making it a nice place to relax and spend time with friends.

Stopped here because it was literally the first place that my GPS suggested. What a great find! It’s small inside, with dark wood and old dive-bar vibes. Don’t get me wrong, I like that. It was not crowded so that was nice. The weather was horrific today, so I’m guessing that’s why it wasn’t that busy for lunch. There were 3 guys at the bar and I made 4. I got the French Onion Soup and the Landmark Burger. Didn’t realize the burger didn’t come with fries but that turned out to be okay cause that burger was delicious and quite filling. The soup was good too – very hot and tasty. I think the cheese was provolone and I do prefer swiss and/or gruyere — but still, it was good. The bartender was friendly and refilled my diet coke several times. Glad I stopped here .. it was great!

A landmark, indeed.
A very cool legendary, classic local spot for drinks, and good food.
In the weekends, it gets busy, so plan accordingly.
The ribs and the pizza are great!

It was my first and last time eating here, I had been craving a BLT, guys what can be more basic? Well it was awful, never in my life was I ever served the ends of the loaf! The bacon and tomato looked old, I was so disappointed. My husband ordered chicken and ribs, but they didn’t have the ribs, so he settled on fish & chips cause the burgers come w/o fries
