Great atmosphere and service, but the best part was the food. I had the carne asada which was amazing along with the duck tacos. The nachos were falling off my wife’s plate as they were stacked to the brim with savory cheese, chorizo, and beans. Moved to Highland Park a few months ago. Wasn’t planning on having Mexican but walked by and it felt right. Food is very unique for Mexican but very good! Got burrito plate, great choice. Very fair pricing. Met the owner Jeff he was very nice and offered us free tequila tasting. Asked us questions on how to improve service/food/drinks. Very receptive and accommodating. This is a great spot. Wife loved it.

Excellent service. The owner gave us a little plate of avocado, beans and cheese for our baby free of charge and brought over some cute little fries for our son. Corn chowder is flame and there’s lots of fun sauces. Highly recommend.

Ended up eating with a fork, the tortilla could not contain it.
But the individual charges for every garnish is unacceptable.

My date and I came in while they were in the process of closing. They insisted we come in so that they may accommodate us. Accommodate us, they did! We did not feel rushed at all. We were able to enjoy each others company. The staff made us feel welcomed. We will definitely come back. Thank you!!
