The service here was great and so was the food, the only problem is they just charge a ridiculous amount of money for things. Like a Spritz is $26. I posted a picture of my receipt for reference, it was for a group of 10.

I would eat a main dish here but I would save the drinking and appetizers for another location, just not worth the price (like $32 for a caprese)

This is a secluded and intimate island ideal for relaxation, enjoying good food, and listening to music. It offers gourmet seafood and drinks in a quiet, private setting. However, the island is quite small, so there isn’t much to explore if you’re planning to spend the entire day.

What I didn’t like when we first got in, we were told where to sit! which was away from the beach, but then we sat where we wanted. This happened many times while we were in italy if i’m paying for a sun bed and i came very early and there were many vacant places i should be seated in a place that pleases me
However our waiter was Federico he took really good care of us and gave us many recommendations which were excellent
We loved the food and the beach
We paid each 150€ (75 sunbed and 75 food).

Highly recommend spending the day here! We came off our boat and loved not having to walk too far for a beach chair. The chairs were very nice and new with 2 high quality towels included. 75 euros total for two chairs wasn’t bad for high demand is/how conveniently located it was. The beach service was fantastic. Highly attentive servers with great customer service. The food at lunch was fantastic—we had the caprese ravioli and fried shrimp and squid, both of which were delicious. The drinks were well made! The waiter even offered to take our photo. I would definitely return!

Fine dining with impeccable service and stunning seaside scenery rarely exist together, but somehow we were lucky enough to stumble upon this corner of paradise in Capri.

We normally plan ahead for all our dining experiences when we travel, however for our trip to Capri we wanted to just go with the flow and wing it. After a lovely little breakfast in the main square we took to our feet and explored the island by walking. By chance, we ended up walking done this hundreds and hundreds of steps down to one of the little beaches only to find this gem of a restaurant right on the beach and it’s own little cove.

It looks like the restaurant has has a recent renovation as the decor is bang up to date. We were greeted with smiles all around by the lovely attentive staff. We were seated by the window overlooking the restaurant’s private beach, the photos speak for themselves, the definition of paradise. The menu was unexpected as it’s more akin to a Michelin starred fine dining experience, prices are on the high side but totally expected for such a location and level of service. The staff were very very attentive but not intrusive, our water glasses were always topped up and we constantly fussed over with fresh plates and cutlery etc. The food was cooked fresh and came in a timely manner. Even though the prices are high we weren’t expecting the food to be this good in such a location. Both our pastas were cooked to perfect and ingredients fresh from the sea in true fine dining style. The desert was exquisite and a perfect way to end our dining experience here. Congratulations to Salvatore and his front of house team for making our time here such a memorable one. We’ve had a lot of great meals on this trip, but the one here at Da Gioria will be the one to remember for many years to come. It really made our trip to Capri that more special. Highly recommend that anyone coming to Capri to get a booking here at Da Gioria. But I’d recommend taking the bus or taxi down to the beach, the stairs are brutal.

A great place to spend the day in Capri. Hidden on the South side of the island, a few stairs after reaching the bus station of Marina Picola, this place offers the option to have a great meal with a view to the sea and boats, and also have a swim in the ocean.

Although prices are a bit expensive, and beach accommodation is quite expensive (75 pp) the place offers a unique capri experience.

Amazing spot with a stunning view right on the water. The fish was super fresh and cooked perfectly, the potatoes were crispy, and the salads were full of flavor. Great wine, relaxed atmosphere, and a fun DJ made it even better. A perfect Capri vibe — can’t wait to come back.

Beach club is nice overall.

The restaurant has spectacular views and excellent food. We enjoyed the lobster pasta and vesuvio tomato pasta.

There is a private beach section but beach chairs are limited on the beach, and the other half of them are in the restaurant patio. Beach chairs are $75/chair whether or not you’re staying at La Palma and in my opinion, La Palma misrepresented the beach club as a guest perk.

Our day trip boat dropped us off here for a couple of hours during a Capri visit. The place is busy so try to make a reservation. Most of staff was helpful and friendly and the Aperol spritz was good to share. The restaurant caters to many of the patrons of the yachts so expect the cost to be higher. We were not seated on the deck so the atmosphere was just okay. Overall a good experience.

I was a bit suspicious with their rating, but still went as my friend said it’s amazing.
Staff was friendly and view was nice. However, food is the most important and if it’s not good – majority will not return.

Our both pastas (€40-€50 each) were cold and bland, tasted almost the same.
Grilled vegetables (€20-€25) were dry and oily..

It’s a shame because restaurant itself is nice and as you may think Italy has one of the best ingredients to create tasty and delicious food.

Price definitely did not match the quality.
