Ordered through Uber Eats, paid around $100, and the tuna from both the roll and the tuna salad were blue. Mind you, fresh tuna is ordinary red, the brighter the better. It takes 2-3 days for it to lose its color. I’m hoping it’s been a day. If not two. This shade leaves me to believe this one’s pretty old. Trying to power through it, I ate a couple pieces to find that it was rather hard as well. Would’ve have much better luck going to Publix or Sake Thai. If quality food is important to you, do not eat here.

Evidently, this is a new location and dine-in was not ready, but the staff was kind enough to put my order on a plate and I sat right there with them and ate a delicious rainbow roll! Thank you for the yummy sushi and kind hospitality.

My husband and I went here while visiting Homestead. The service was incredible and very hospitable. We got four sushi rolls, all of which were delicious and plentiful. The presentation was beautiful as well. Excited to go back when we come back in December!

I don’t know where to even begin… Three months ago I lost my father and it left my mother completely devastated since his death. On my day off I decided that I would take my Mother and my Aunt to Sushi Sake cause my aunt was expressing how much she loved the margaritas there that were made by this gentleman named Ivan, as we entered the restaurant we were created by the cold silence followed by two customers that were already seated.

Moments passed and we decided to seat ourselves due to the lack of a host greating us in. We should have left but even then, my aunt really wanted to stay simply because of the margaritas and how set she on wanting one made specifically by the gentleman she was talking about earlier. Mind you both my Aunt and Mother are very soft spoken women and they’re also sharing a very similar pain since they both lost their husbands I was trying to bring both their spirits up cause losing a loved one is very devastating but I digress.

After waiting what felt like 10-15min this unkept disheveled woman stormed out of the kitchen or back room dressed very unprofessionally and refused to attend us appropriately. When my Aunt asked about the gentlemen the woman responded in very distasteful fashion telling us in a very rude manner that he was unavailable and asked us if there was a problem with her being our server. Which in my history of visiting restaurants and even working at restaurants that’s never the demeanor one should carry when addressing guests.

She then claimed that she was the “owner” of said establishment and proceeded to tell my Aunt to leave without attending us because my Mother and Aunt requested a different server due to how uncomfortable they both felt.. which ruined they day for us. I cannot express my disability and dissatisfaction enough, this review does not do it justice and left both my Mother and Aunt hurt more than they were when I brought them there to try and lift their spirits only to have someone that doesn’t even look like they work there to greet us with sucha rude demeanor.

She also refused to give us her name.. whoever she was, she looked like she was under the influence of some substance.

A completely disappointing experience and a total lack of respect for customers.
My wife’s birthday is today, Monday the 12th, and I called on Saturday to make a reservation for 15 people. I left my phone number, and the reservation was confirmed without issue.

We arrived today with the whole family to celebrate, and the restaurant was completely CLOSED.
Worst of all, no one notified us—no call, no message, no prior warning, even though they had my number.

Planning a birthday celebration for 15 people is not something you improvise. This ruined a very special occasion and shows a total lack of professionalism, responsibility, and respect for customers.

I do not recommend this restaurant. If you can’t honor a reservation or decide to close, the very least you can do is inform your guests.

This review is for the Sushi Sake that recently opened at 5 S Flagler Ave in Homestead Florida. I went there today with a friend of mine to get some sushi. I asked for Ivan (server/bartender) because he has always given us great, friendly service with a smile. The owner/manager got so upset because I asked for him. She said: he’s not here. Why, do you have a problem with me, and I said no. She responded: well this is the second time you ask for him (I had been there about 2 weeks ago with family and friends and we had asked for him because my daughter wanted a martini and he always made them really good). Needless to say she had a horrendous attitude so I told her we were leaving because of her attitude. I let her know I was going to write a review and she said: you can write all the reviews you want and she told me not to come back there again.
