It is located at the W Cactus Ave. / S Rainbow Blvd. The place has 2 sides to it. One side is the restaurant by itself and the other side is the bar area.
This is exactly what this neighborhood needed. A reasonably priced local food joint with simple delicious options.
Everything that we have ordered came out, hot, juicy, and incredibly flavorful, which says a lot about the quality and care they put into their food.
Their food is fresh and house made. Wow!!! Which is very rare these days.
We have ordered: a triple smash Steve French burger, a French bread pepperoni dream pizza , a stuffed mushrooms- a MUST HAVE! The best stuffed mushrooms that we have ever had.
The French fries that came with the burger were very good and well seasoned.
The burger was cooked exactly how I love it with crispy caramelized edges and a soft juicy center that practically melts when you bite into it.
Awesome little spot to grab a bite. The service was great too. They are still getting their foothold ,but the food is delicious and we highly recommend it!!!
The burger was ok, nothing special. It’s big but had barely any sauce, which made it very dry. If it had more sauce, it would have actually tasted good.
Overall, I would rate this place as average. If they were better with their portions I would probably give them four stars.
Nice looking restaurant on the good side of town near home, this place exceeded my expectations i tried the conky burger and the guinea french bread pizza and both were delicious no extra seasoning needed, the caramelized onion were perfect fries well seasoned too.
Overall clean restaurant and clear menu, definitely would go back and try the other items, portions are generous.
They are still getting staffed and getting thier foothold but the food is good and the options are pleasant. Pizza egg rolls are really good.
It should be noted though, there food is fresh and house made. That being said, this type of food does not travel well. It should be enjoyed there, or eat your fries on the way home.
Aside from that, I can’t wait to see what options they will have as this place evolves.
Also tried the Dirty Diablo single was a solid smash burger meal for $11. The sauce that comes with it was ordered on the side is homemade, tangy and delicious. Fries were well seasoned and seemed fresh cut from scratch. Only thing I’d change is skip the shredded lettuce, doesn’t add much to that burger IMHO.
They had open tables and at least 1 booth, casual atmosphere, location is next to bounty hunter casino just South of Cactus/S. Rainbow intersection.
I felt welcomed and the price for the quality of food was a solid deal. I will definitely be back!
We ordered the fried pickles and the Cajun Butter Wings.
We started in on the pickles while still on the drive home. They were hot, crispy and the pickle had great flavor! Plus it’s a really good portion!
Now onto the Cajun Butter Wings. We are well familiar with the wings at Naked City Pizza on Paradise, and when we found out that they were affiliated with Steve French’s, it was a no-brainer. These are the same FANTASTIC wings from Naked City. They were still hot, crispy, and the flavor is amazing.
Honestly it’s probably dangerous that we live this close.
When I sat down and opened the menu, the very first thing that caught my eye was the French bread pizzas. It took everything in me not to fall back into my comfort zone and order one. But I reminded myself that I was there for the burgers.
I started with the Suicide Fries because I already knew from NCP that they were amazing. Then I ordered the Steve Frenchs Burger.
It was phenomenal.
There were no gimmicks or unnecessary extras, just pure and perfectly balanced flavor. The aioli, the sautéed onions, the seasoning, everything came together beautifully. The burger was cooked exactly how I love it with crispy caramelized edges and a soft juicy center that practically melts when you bite into it.
I never once put the burger down to eat my fries. After the first bite I was completely locked in and powered through the whole thing.
If anyone is wondering whether Steve Frenchs lives up to the Naked City Pizza legacy, the answer is absolutely yes. I am already planning my next visit.
