The atmosphere is welcoming, the service is excellent, and the food consistently stands out. We ordered fried rice, vegetable dumplings, noodles, and spring roll Manchurian, and every dish was spot on.
Since fusion restaurants often struggle to perfect Indian flavors, we didn’t expect to be this amazed. The Butter Paneer and Paneer Tikka Masala were exceptionally good enough to win over even the most dedicated meat eater. We were so pleasantly surprised that we returned with a large group just to enjoy it all over again.
It’s clear we’ve found our new go-to spot in New York, and we’re genuinely happy about it.

Twice as a party of 5; 2 kids age 8.
Once as a party of 7; 2 kids age 8 and a toddler.
Each time we have been met with nothing short of a fantastic dinning experience.

The first time we went full fusion, fried rice, papaya salad, vegetable dumplings, noodles, Manchurian. It was fantastic we wanted to come back to try the Indian section of the menu.
Typically we expect fusion places to be only decent at Indian food because they have such a wide menu. We were pleasantly surprised at how phenomenal the Indian food here tasted.
I can whole heartedly recommend the Palak Paneer and the Paneer tikka masala to anyone even the most voracious carnivore. They were beyond any of our expectations. We were so in shock we went back again with a huge party just to try it again.
Honestly we have found a go-to place in NY. Which is great for us!

So I have ordered from Kunga once before and was hesitant as the Chili chicken dry and chili fish dry were red in color, not supposed to be if its original indo Chinese food. We tried giving them another try tonight and prior to me placing the order I called rhe restaurant and they said they use Red food dye in their batter. I requested they do not for my order as it is not safe (Red Food Dye) and their response was that they use it in their bulk seasoning of the meats. Here are pics where I ordered Chili chicken dry, chili fish dry and manchurian chicken dry and they all look the same. Plus who chops up hakka noodle ls to 1-2 inches? That is not Indo Chinese. I am very disappointed as all dishes tasted exactly the same and the noodles chopped up was an addition to me not ordering from them again.

This use to be our go to place for take-ours, weekends,, special occasions. However with the recent expansion and change in ownership, it has gotten too expensive now. Prices have increased by 20-25% and its not worth it anymore. Also we
liked the previous owners and shared a good relationship but dont feel the same warmth anymore. The food is still good but it’s not going to be our first choice anymore.

This used to be my go to place for food before but now they’re highly mismanaged restaurant… unstained, over crowded, people keep waiting for basics like water, water refill, menu and finally foe someone to order food. Waited 20 minutes only for someone to come and hand the menu, finally left… still ordered to go in late afternoon and its not teh same taste … the Thai curry was very tasteless and no flavors. It was just like eating coconut flavor curry. .. Growth is good but consistency is the key which they’re lacking in…. Will surely give it a miss next on

The lemon coriander soup is refreshing and tastes exactly as described. The chicken dumplings were big and delicious, with the spicy sauce. These are really good Momo dumplings reminds me of the ones from Jackson Heights but bigger! My takeout order was ready very quick and pickup was a breeze. The interior was welcoming and service was friendly and excellent. Great spot for indo-fusion cuisine!

Go! especially If you want Hakka Go! It’s small w/ 2-3 tables, takeout & nice people! We went for Hakka dishes (not Chinese or Indian) & these were top notch ‘Masala Wok’ worthy excellent delicious Hakka dishes: this is not a review for those looking for Indian or Chinese dishes but they have those also. I am only interested in the Hakka fusion: the Kai Chi wings are like the “Drums of Heaven!” from our long gone and sorely missed Masala Wok…:(. And the Hakka noodles, the coriander garlic chicken, and the Hakka chili chicken done in the dry style without too much extra sauce both harkened back to the delicious flavors of Masala Wok. Hope the quality of food stays high.
