Made a reservation for lunch. Great food. Great service by our server Antonio. Very attentive and helpful with explaining the options. All the food was fresh and expertly prepared. Our favorites were the calamari, squid ink spaghetti, and tiramisu! Would definitely come back with more guests.

Legitimately a top restaurant in NJ for me. First off, service is friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Second, we ordered a Toro crudo appetizer, beet salad, carrot something, and lamb chops. All were fantastic. For entrees our table ordered both pasta dishes and 2 fish dishes. Every bite perfect. We then shared a few gelatos. It’s rare to go to a place that’s an A+. This is it.

Lula Ristorante is nothing short of amazing. Tonight was yet another wonderful gastronomic extravaganza. Each dish is lovingly prepared using the finest ingredients. The cocktails are tantalizing. You will experience multiple taste bud orgasms. Our bar tender was also our culinary guide. Travis not only went out of his way to make us feel like part of the family, he offered amazing suggestions as well. It is no surprise that this gem is so highly rated. Great restaurant! Chef Adolfo Marisi is so talented and he loves to feed his guests. Good food, good vibe and nice cocktails. You can be in the main dining area or hang out at the bar, the service is always top notch. Highly recommend.

My wife, my kid, and I went to Lupa Ristorante with high expectations and were not disappointed. Delicious food, great service, Italian atmosphere. We also had the opportunity to talk to Mr. Adolfo and his son (in Italian, obviously). Great chefs, amazing people.

I found Lupa by browsing “Best Italian Restaurants near me” and by far they did not disappoint.
I visited the first time with some friends on a Friday Evening. The staff were very nice and seated us quickly.
We started our meal with whipped ricotta, fresh bread and burrata. All of which were delicious.
We all had a different pasta dish for our main course. The pasta was so fresh you could tell it was house made.
For dessert we shared an almond cake and lemon cake.
The meal was so delicious that I returned on my birthday with my parents a couple months later. Our Waitor was terrific. It was my parents first time there so he answered all of their questions and made sure we were well taken care of.
If you have the chance to try their calamari you must. It may be the best I’ve ever had and so tender!
We also all chose pasta dishes which were just as delicious as the first time.
For dessert we all shared tiramisu, profiteroles and gelato (hazelnut and salted caramel).
We are all hoping to return to check out their brunch!
I highly recommend if you’re looking for delicious Italian dishes with elegantly paired ingredients.

This was our first time at Lupa, but the minute we walked in, we were treated like we were regulars, friends, family. Every single staff member was welcoming and attentive, especially the host, our server and Adolfo himself. Not only did Adolfo greet us and welcome us in, throughout our meal, he made sure we were enjoying everything. The outside is reminiscent of a Tuscan villa. The inside is a modern beauty with personal pictures on the wall bringing a rustic, warm, family feel to the modernity. There is a buzz in the dining area, making it obvious that the vibe of Lupa is meant to be one of great food and great company. Speaking of the food, I really don’t know where to begin and I could go on and on. Everything we had was absolutely delicious. House made bread, pastas and gelato. The well balanced flavors, combination of textures, and plating showed just how much care goes into every dish. The desserts were a perfect ending to the night, just as the cocktails were the perfect beginning. Everything in between echoed that perfection. This was one of the best meals we have ever eaten and we cannot wait to go back. Thank you, Lupa. Thank you, Adolfo.

This was our first visit to Lupa and we were genuinely excited based on the reviews. Unfortunately we left scratching our heads. We arrived on time with a reservation and ended up waiting approximately 20 to 25 minutes for our table to be ready. This seems to be a common complaint among other patrons as well. If this is consistent, clearly management is doing something wrong when scheduling table times. The noise in the main dining room is also an issue, as other reviewers state, but that’s hard to change. I would agree to sit in the bar area, which was much more relaxing. The bread and sauce that is placed on the table was delicious and ended up being our favorite part of the meal. The appetizers had a nice flavor and presentation, although nothing all that special. The entrees is where it took a turn. The fish was dry and the sauce wasn’t flavorful with one piece of broccolini to boot. The carbonara tasted a bit like jarred sauce with no panceltta for flavor. The Wagyu beef was also dry with little taste. The sauces also were just not that flavorful. Overall, the service was a bit lacking. We had high hopes, but Lupa will not be added to our rotation of favorite restaurants.
