My favorite is the lamb and brisket. It’s all so good and just a solid crew all around. I got much love for small businesses and these bois put in the work!!
I ordered ribs/turkey/slaw/potatoes. I got two ribs and one slice of turkey, taters and slaw were good but nothing earth shattering.
My son ordered ribs/twinkies/rice/mac. Two ribs and two twinkies, is all he got.
This is a food truck too – so it’s not like the cost of the food has to pay building overhead…
The girl who took our order was very nice and courteous.
I just wish they had longer hours and weren’t only open on limited days.
I saw someone’s review saying they were the best—and good thing I listened!
I don’t know why they only have a few reviews! This place is such a hidden gem. They’re even right next to a brewery, which makes it the perfect spot to bring friends and socialize.
I got there around 11am. They have a special breakfast menu and don’t serve the full menu until 12pm, but honestly, it doesn’t even matter!
What I ordered:
• Brisket and Waffle – OMG, the meat was so tender. It wasn’t too salty, it was packed with flavor, and the smokiness really came through. 10/10, highly recommend.
(Don’t have photo coz we finished it before we remember to take one )
For Lunch (12pm):
• Jalapeño Cheese Sausage – 8/10. A little salty for me, but still super flavorful! Best paired with the avocado crème coleslaw.
• Turkey – 9/10. Juicy with a perfect smoky flavor.
• Elote – 10/10. Their elote is a must-try! Creamy, slightly sweet, with just the right touch of acidity.
• Beans – 8/10. Full of flavor, with different meats mixed in.
• Avocado Crème Coleslaw – 10/10. Refreshing and the perfect pairing with their meats.
PRICE: VERY AFFORDABLE
Really you can’t miss with anything you pick off the menu. Located right next to Hop & Sting Brewery so you can get a beer while waiting on your food.
They also have smash burgers which are truly the best I’ve had really anywhere. Goes absolutely great with a beer from the brewery from where they’re located at.
They’ll usually have a rotating special going on which keeps the menu fresh, keep an eye out for what they got on any particular weekend.
The team is what really puts this all together. Paul and Christian are the head pit masters who’s love language is food. You can taste the passion they put into their craft, hence the name.
They’ve participated in shows and have won and gained recognition from the BBQ community. It’s well deserved.
My only complaint is that they’ve set the bar so high in terms of BBQ that I find it hard to enjoy any other BBQ spot wherever I go outside of Texas and that’s really annoying. It’s a legitimate problem.
I highly recommend this place, the food, the location, the entire team, the atmosphere, the desert, the brewery, everything is perfect.
¡Viva La Pasión!
I wanted to have an elote as a side but the people in front of me ordered the last one. It seems that they sell out quickly on certain items. I don’t see this as a negative. It just tells me this place is popular.
Please note that this place is a small food truck in the back of the parking lot and next door to a brewery. Please visit. You won’t be disappointed.
As for Jordan Gray’s comment, it’s hard to believe you left without giving the rest of the menu a chance. That’s truly unfortunate, because this place offers outstanding food beyond just the BBQ. Hopefully next time you’ll stay, try it, and experience what everyone else is talking about.
Only downside? They were out of sausage by the time I got there—clearly, I underestimated its popularity! But no worries, I’ll be making the trip back just to get my hands on some. If you’re craving top-tier BBQ with a warm and welcoming vibe, Pasion BBQ is the place to go!
