Today my family and I did a “For the Love of Gary”, mini food tour for Valentine’s Day. We had 6 dishes from 3 local spots and Katina’s was a crowd favorite.
The staff were amazing, the food was made fresh and worth the wait (20mins).
Our favorite dish was the pot roast cheesesteak, the fresh fries, with the Katrina’s blue punch.
It was excellent, well seasoned, made with love. The energy, service and preparation was outstanding.

One visit had me locked in on the jerk sliders with Cajun fries—perfectly seasoned, juicy, and bold in all the right ways. That jerk heat wasn’t playing defense; it went straight on offense . And those Cajun fries? Crispy, seasoned just right, and dangerous if you’re trying to “just have a few.”
On another occasion, I went with the Mac Bowl (one meat, one side) and let me tell you… that pot roast was so tender it felt like it had been slow-cooked with love, patience, and somebody’s auntie watching over it. Rich, flavorful, falling apart just how it’s supposed to. Paired with the red beans and rice, it was comfort food at championship level. And yes—the Mac Bowl comes with cornbread, which absolutely deserves its own honorable mention.
This is the kind of food that makes you pause mid-bite, look around, and nod like, “Yeah… they did that.”

Look here… this food is amazing. You gotta wait for it (30min or so) but it was well worth it. I don’t know if you can call in an order because I kept getting the VM but I left them a message and told them to keep it up!! Don’t miss this hidden gem

When you get there please make sure you ask Regina for her sweet cornbread. Katrina and Regina brings such positive engery and laughter to the restaurant. I ordered jerk salmon, yams, and black eye peas, with corn bread.
The yams were beyond delicious as was the black eye peas. The jerk salmon was also delicious but very spicy to the point I couldn’t finish after two forks. I will keep trying other dishes. The customer service is excellent . The interior is clean and neat.

The food so GOOD everytime I go I get stuck on what to order for like 10 mins until I get some of everything smothered chicken the legs my favorite piece of you get chicken ,best pot roast I done had ! Katrina don’t miss smothered catfish Mac and cheese it’s just a hit everytime and service is always above and beyond!

Disappointed. I ordered two different Sunday meals. We found the food to be bland and over salted. It was obvious that shortcuts were taken like canned veggies and processed gravy. We ordered smothered pork chops, meatloaf, mac and cheese, dressing, sweet potatoes, and black-eyed peas. Nothing was edible. Definitely a thumbs down!

Don’t walk but RUN to Katrina’s Kitchen!! Today was my first time trying this gem and I’m so happy I did! I ordered the catfish with cabbage and sweet potatoes as well as the jerk chicken Mac bowl with red beans and rice and fries! Everything was delicious! Even the peach and tropical punch drinks were phenomenal! Everything was great even the customer service was amazing! Please don’t wait try them today! Also everything is cooked fresh so please be patient because the food is worth the wait!!
