Reviews
The restaurant eating area is open and clean. I like that. It just feels… clean. some would call it sterile, but I enjoy that kind of environment.
The menu has plenty of dishes, and the portions are large. If you’re a lite eater, you can share or make two meals.
I have visited twice, and both times I enjoyed what I got… except… are you ready for this? The Cuban Sandwich… like what!
Cuban Sandwich: Portions are good, but it lack seasoning, and we didn’t get any au-jus. So it was just a blah let down.
My favorite is the Tostones. They are basically Cuban tostadas or if you like open-face jibaritos. Little fried plantains covered in deliciousness.
Desserts: Too many to name. But they are right up front and in your face… perfect!
Pros: Authentic, clean, good selection.
Cons: Price, Staff is somewhat friendly, Cuban Sandwich lacks flavor
Only thing I didn’t like was why the server add us the service feed when we’re only a party of 2 adults and 2 kids? Plus she didn’t say anything about it and we give her 18% more when we were paying at the cashier.
So just because you see us with different skin colors doesn’t mean we are not going to tip you.
Next time it will be nice if they say they already add the tip on our check.
You even have signs where is saying groups of 6 and more people gratuity it will be included.
The food here is absolutely amazing, with generous portions perfect for sharing. We indulged in the Picada Colombiana, which included a mouth-watering array of steak, chicken, chorizo, blood sausage, arepa, fried yuca, fried plantains, and Creole potatoes—ample enough to comfortably feed three people.
We also enjoyed the Bandeja Paisa, a hearty dish featuring fried pork belly, grilled beef, white rice, red beans, a fried egg, homemade sausage, sweet plantains, avocado, and a corn cake (arepa). Each element was cooked to perfection, delivering authentic flavors in every bite. The empanadas were so good.
The Goku salad was a fresh and delicious blend of avocado, tomatoes, onions, and cilantro. It was the perfect complement to our meal.
To quench our thirst, we tried the Jugo Natural de Mango and Jugo de Guava both were incredibly fresh and tasty.
For dessert, we savored the Bocadillos de Queso y Guayaba, which were absolutely on point. I also had a Café con Leche that I thoroughly enjoyed.
If you’re looking for authentic Colombian food, Mi Querida Colombia is a must-visit. Highly recommended—Five Stars!
I fear this restaurant won’t be here long due to pricing. Very expensive.
My favorite empanadas de carne in their bakery my favorite is pan de bono and Cakes.
I highly recommend a Cuban Sandwich and an espresso as an excellent breakfast!
