Conveniently located on 50, Cafe Rio is fast, fresh and convenient. The prices are reasonable and one can easily afford a meal for five. It’s harder for us that are a bit vertically challenged to give our order as there is a huge glass separating the line, the food and those taking orders. The place is well decorated and I especially enjoy the baskets of fresh veggies that can be seen from the checkout line. The food is prepared in front of you as the line moves forward. I always opt for the chicken tortilla soup and the steak quesadilla is always a safe bet.

Similar to Baja Fresh or Chipotle. The burritos and enchiladas are pretty good. Not really a fan of the sweet pork, was way too sweet for my taste.

I love the salad, it wasn’t too much rice/beans, fully customized order for delivery and it was so fresh and so yummy!!! I wasn’t expecting to like it so much as I’m visiting from the west coast so of course I think we have most authentic Mexican influence but this was DELICIOUS!!! My picture is after I devoured the food, and I thought I wasn’t hungry!!! Pic was before I tried to get everyone in the house to taste the tortilla… Because it tastes SO SO GOOD and FRESH!!!

The servers were atrocious very bad attitudes poor disposition. The bright spot was the cashier who got things back on track. She was very friendly and courteous. The food was delicious.

Honestly I never revised good or bad but last two weeks I visited this place.. twice issue.
1. My wife got a vegetable burrito and the first person fix it and second person to our surprise complained why the burrito is big? The first person explained its veggie and he added more..
2. Went this week and See the picture

Love this place! Consistent food, flavor and service! Always fresh food and leave stuffed! My fav is the fire grilled chicken tacos rice and beans with some pico all over! Would have been 5 stars but they never seem to have the hot sauce I like available!

Thought I’d try out this place since it’s been in the neighborhood for a while and got some good review from words of mouth. Got a rude welcome from the server taking order:
Me: Can I have the special of the day?
Server: What’s the special of the day?
Me: It’s Maria’s Enchilada.
Server: No that is not the special of the day.
Me: But there is a big sign up here behind me that say Monday special is Enchilada.
Server: I’ll get someone to check that sign.
Someone: Went out of the counter, pull out the sign and show it to server.
Server (talking to Someone): I thought today is Tuesday….
Server: So what do you want?
Me: I want the special of the day.
Server: I mean what kind of meat do you want with it….
Not sure about all that! Will think twice about coming back to this place.

Came in for my first time on a Tuesday (had no idea it was a discount day) I ordered a salad, fully prepared to pay the $9 the menu listed, and when I went to pay I found out it was only $6! I would’ve gladly paid even more than the listed price, the portion is huge! This is one of the only places I’ve ever gone and felt full from my meal. Food was delicious, service was fast and friendly, and their tortillas are incredible!!! You definitely get your money’s worth whether you go on their discount day or on any other day.
