Watch out at this location, tried to order pickup, but could not get anybody to answer the phone (tried 4 times). They try to get you to order online, decide to drive over to location to order. Good thing I didn”t order online because prices were higher by $3.00 for each item, compared to menu at location, took a pic of menu at location, pic of menu clicking QR code on counter and pic if I were to order online…the Ohana Meal was $10.00 more – what a scam. I asked to have my order of spam & eggs, the eggs “sunny side up”, which the cashier said no problem and I get home to find eggs were “over easy”, 2nd time in a row they’ve done it. Need to go somewhere else…

My order was incorrect then the employee wanted to give me an excuse. I watched the preparers mess up the order then try to fix it with burnt eggs everywhere I asked for a refund now I have to wait a week to get my money back when u took it in 2 seconds

Like this place, great shrimp, chicken and beef combo. Was not provided Tartar sauce for my shrimp, had to ask for this. Service was friendly. Place is very clean

Dirty, greasy, not good. Not sure how to better describe this experience. The restaurant was fairly unkept. Dirty windows, unkept tables, and overall lack of care. Food was greasy, and inconsistent. I ordered the Island Fire Chicken. Not spicy, not flavorful, just lots of grease and what looks like chili and spices, really just a disappointment. The Mac Salad was a small sad scoop of macaroni drenched with mayonnaise. I get that this is a chain, but the food is sub-standard, and the lack of care, or cleanliness screams loudly for lack of management or supervison. So many other choices, will not be coming again.

I found a bug in my chicken katsu dish, which was really disappointing. The staff handled the situation well and gave me a refund, which I appreciate, but it’s still concerning. The spam musubi was yummy but unfortunately, I don’t think I’ll be eating at this location again.

If you have ever been to Hawaii, eaten the local food, and are now wanting to walk down memory lane, then you have got to eat here. Food prepared fresh to order and exactly as it is back on island. All I had to do was take one bite of the Musubis and I was transported to North Shore again. The Shrimp and White Fish combo was cooked to perfection. Exquisitely light and delicate with the perfect crispy crunch of deep fried. A must have anytime you find yourself on Alameda.
