After reading the reviews I was feeling adventurous; I remember it being slow service last time I was here. This time around polar opposite, greeted upon walking in, sat very quickly, menu delivered and drinks order taken straight away, strong start and stayed that way.
Opted for the popadoms, pickle tray and a main since it was late. Good choice of sauces and crispy popadoms, main dish was great, only suggestion would be a little less ghee and cook the onions and peppers that little less to get some extra crunch. Other than that was a great tasting meal.
Keep it up, and I’ll be back.

We had a lovely evening here last night. The food was delicious, the service was very good, the young waiter was so friendly and made us very welcome. The lamb was lovely in my Mahkani & the chicken Karahi was also very tasty. Both dishes were very fresh and full of flavour. Would definitely return when next in Chester.

My experience was excellent, especially considering the limited pure vegetarian options often found in Chester.
I was very pleased that upon request, the staff agreed to prepare my food using a separate pan. The resulting meal was delicious—a quality of food I haven’t encountered elsewhere in Chester.
The most commendable aspect was the honesty and integrity of the manager, who provided proper information instead of giving misleading assurances just to secure a sale.
I would highly recommend this establishment!

We were a walk in, quite early on a Saturday. We were in a bit of a rush as had a gig to go to down the road. Excellent choice! We were one meat eater and two pescatarians. Service was very good from all staff, There was a massive selection including vegetarian options for us fussy ones. Our meat eater had the mixed grill tandoori thing with sauce and it was it looked great Food was amazing, could really taste the herbs, the rice was delicious and looked amazing, and the nann breads were huge. Couldnt fault the whole experience! It will be our regular gig stop off from now on!

I personally found it just OK. It didnt taste bad by any means, but didn’t really give me the taste I was expecting.
Chicken tikka masala sauce was not as thick, creamy, or deep burnt orange colour as I expected. Sauce was thinner, red and dotted with herbs.
I personally found my Garlic Naan not garlicky enough.

Read the 1* reviews. We should have. The service can be described in 1 word, IGNORED. The buffet does not include poppadoms offered on arrival and charged extra for. We sent ours back as uneatable. We were then given 6 more. Only had 2 and charged £3.50. Cobra beer is a rip off £6 per bottle. The curries are all the same bland flavours, the egg and cauliflower pakora are a cheap version of chicken. Service is non-existant and staff are rude. Avoid. It’s the worse curry experience ever. And I told them so. Also 1 offering of pudding and a broken chair in the deal.

Christmas day, I’ve had a long month so didn’t want to cook.
Single fried prawn for £7.50, equivalent salmon one piece for £7.50… baby onion bahjis….
I’ve been 2x with friends and it was ok at the restaurant but wow… £7.50 for a single fried prawn and a few onion pieces is a rip off. Sadly will not be reordering or recommending this restaurant to anyone.

We went for the buffet at Sunday lunchtime, more people came a bit later so the atmosphere score is lower as we were more or less just us. Nice buffet, plenty of options with the spice level being lower than you’d expect- but tasty stuff and not too pricey. If you fancy a quick curry it’s a good option.
