I’ve visited the Jackson area several times over the past few months, and this restaurant had been on my list for a whileOverall, it was a very solid fine-dining experience and one I’d happily keep in rotation!
The wood-grilled filet was cooked perfectly to a true medium, and the char-grilled oysters were generously portioned, well-executed, and full of flavor. The praline topping for the bread pudding was amazing!
While the food impressed, I was a bit underwhelmed by the cocktail options. The French 75 didn’t quite meet expectations for a restaurant of this caliber, especially given the extensive and higher-end wine list.

The ambiance is upscale and inviting, though the seating felt somewhat limited for solo diners, with most of the space centered around booths.
Overall, a great dining experience with strong food and atmosphere, definitely worth a visit when in Jackson!

This was our first time and it was lovely. I started with the Nice Pear (totally delish), the apps we went with – crawfish bruschetta, hot, catfish, pimento cheese toast, 6 honey drop oysters, and pork belly. My meal consisted of the jumbo scallops (tender and tasted like butter). I ended with the awakening (very sophisticated) and dessert was the strawberry and cream blondie(so tasty with the warm blondie and the cold ice cream). We didn’t care for the extra toasty pimento cheese and the manager was wonderful enough to comp it.

The customer service was excellent from everyone we encountered. Lucas was a phenomenal waiter. He was a sweetheart with a great personality. The prices were fair. Atmosphere was elegant and upscale. I enjoyed dining in for my birthday here.

After a long day of shopping, we turned the corner looking for a place to rest, cool down, and fill our bellies before heading home. Caet was the perfect choice. Service was amazing. Our server was attentive, very knowledgeable about the menu, and incredibly helpful in narrowing down all the great choices they had to offer. I treated my daughter for her 11th birthday, and we enjoyed every single moment. We started with the shrimp cocktail served with their delicious house-made cocktail sauce. For dinner, I had the 10oz medium rare filet with a half house salad, potatoes, asparagus, and a side of fried crawfish tails, along with two absolutely delicious plum drop cocktails.

The steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned, as was everything else we tried. The atmosphere was warm and inviting with dim lighting, beautiful interior design, calming artwork, and stunning tile floors. The restrooms were spotless, and I appreciated the option of private dining rooms.

We arrived around 4pm on a Saturday, which was the perfect time to beat the dinner rush. It truly was a perfect evening from start to finish. I cannot wait to come back.

First off, the location is in a superb location. Atmosphere is great. Super busy and bustling place, especially during dinner and/or the weekends. The oysters were not as good as I’ve had at other places but still good none the less. Appetizers are definitely shareable and enough for a whole table! The cauliflower was not my favorite. The charcuterie board was awesome. The catfish was super crispy and thin but they give you a TON. I had the gumbo and it was excellent! Definitely will be back and will try some other things!

U really enjoyed my food…waiter was prompt and easily available about any questions on the menu. Only issue is had at the end of the night. I gave the waiter my card and came back with a pre determined tip of 20% wrote in….. it was my first time there and I asked isn’t there a breakdown of gratituty percentages??? He said no… so a total of $28.75 was added …anyway everything else overshadowed the unexpected gratitude lol..

Visited Caet for the first time during the busy holiday week without a reservation. The staff was able to accommodate us for the evening and we waited shortly for a table. The service by the staff was prompt and courteous and our server gave recommendations about specials and restaurant favorites for us to try as a few in our party were visiting the restaurant for the first time. I had the featured redfish entree for the evening but did not enjoy because the fish lacked flavor. I was most impressed by the appetizers which are large in portion size. I would have had them as an entree if I knew the portion sizes. The catfish appetizer was amazing and delicious; seasoned well with a hint of spice and crispy. The grilled toast was great and we really enjoyed the Rockefeller oysters. All the appetizers are shareable if you have a larger party. There is an extensive wine list and featured cocktails. The restaurant atmosphere is lively with an open kitchen style. Throughly enjoyed the dinner visit.

Unbelievable. Caet is a beautiful restaurant. We met our son and his girlfriend there for dinner. From start to finish, it was excellent. Derek and Jennifer really bring some wonderful food out at Caet. We had Raw and Charbroiled Oysters, the Lobster Roll appetizer, the Wedge Salad, the special Swordfish, the Redfish Anna, and the Filet. The cocktails were wonderful as well. We enjoyed the Key Lime Pie and the Salted caramel Tart for dessert. Absolutely a wonderful dining experience. Haley, our server, was a treat!

Good food for sure. Not the best I’ve ever had but definitely good. Service was quick and attentive which I like. For those looking for more interaction, you might be left wanting. For me, it was perfect. I don’t like to be bothered while I eat.
