I placed a phone order for two California steak sandwiches, one order of wings with fries, and an extra small fries. I clearly explained that one sandwich should have everything except mayo, and the other should have everything with yellow American cheese. When I received the food, one of the sandwiches was completely wrong—it was dry with only steak and lettuce, no cheese, no chili, and missing the toppings I asked for. I even asked the gentleman to repeat the order to me and he did but once I received my order it was wrong and the receipt was wrong because it said no chilli no mayo no cheese etc.
This has happened multiple times before with my orders and my family’s orders, but this is the first time I’m leaving a review because I’m tired of the staff not paying attention to simple instructions. Orders should be checked for accuracy before being given to customers.

Ive been going to this establishment for a while even before it moved to the location its at today. Now im not complaining about the food or establishment itself but there is an employee currently working who seems to be up to something shady which sucks because itll make the whole business look bad. I ordered along with 2 friends and when i got charged for some reason there was a tip of 18 percent included into my bill as if i had a party of 5 or more. None of my friends got this charge but for some reason i did. When i brought it up the gentleman was complaining that the receipt was “lost” because too many people had come in and ordered but i saw the machine said clover and i use the same thing at my job. I told him that its very easy to pull up a receipt especially because only like 10 people at most had come in after me. He kept complaining about oh this guy is asking for too much but luckily a female employee came and said she could do it and i told her the total of my bill so it would be easier to find. When she did and printed it and i pointed out that i had been charged an extra 3 and the gentleman butts in and says yeah for eating here i charge everyone that. He didnt think id check my friends receipts and notice that there was no charge for eating in as it clearly states on the bill, but my bill had a charge that claimed table 5+(18.0%). I confronted him and said no one else got charged this why did I. He continued to claim he does it to everyone i told him clearly he doesnt because they didnt get charged and i told him if you wanted money just tell me that. Its not the amount but the principal. I can only imagine he might do this to someone else. I would hate for a place like this to get a bad rep because of an employees greed. Im not asking for money back but just a reminder to all check your receipts if there is a tall slightly hefty gentleman with glasses working the counter. Again his fellow female employee ive seen working there for years and she has always been amazing and friendly which explains why she is still there and also the reason i still give the atmosphere a 5 star but this gentleman immediately went on a shitlist for me sorry texas chili

It’s funny when you order a chili burger the meat is so small and the bread gigantic . I forgot to take a pic of the size of the burger pattie versus the bread. But I’m not mad because the chili balanced the taste. I ordered without cheese just lettuce burger pattie chili and mayonnaise.

Great spot on Port Chester’s Main Street. I only had the menudo (tripe stew / mondongo) and can recommend it highly. Good Mexican music playing, friendly service, and credit cards accepted.

I drive 30 minutes to this establishment. That’s a 1 hour round trip. I ask for chili on the side, because after 30 minutes in the car the bread on the food becomes soggy from the chili. It isn’t bad enough that they are charging $5 for the smallest crappiest hamburger you have ever seen in your life but after making a one-hour round trip to this restaurant and home again to discover they forget the number one ingredient they make in the restaurant, the chili. Then when you call to ask now all of the sudden their English isn’t so good. Their English was perfectly fine when they were taking $50, but when there’s a complaint now it’s not so good. The people working in this restaurant are beyond incompetent. I could have lit that $50 bill on fire and the heat that it generated would have served more of a purpose than this crap food I just drove for.

This is a true local “hole in the wall” spot. They have bfast, lunch and dinner, and are in a few locations. I have only been to the port Chester one. This location will be sadly closing at the end of the year, but they have another in Mamaroneck near by. There chili is spicy but not too over powering. There chili dogs are excellent. And the chili cheese burger is great too. There prices are AMAZING.

Damn, that’s great food for a great price! Their food has flavor, so if you want bland food, don’t eat here. A no nonsense setting with table service. Love this place.
