Meggan was literally my hands and FEET! She made my brother and his bride-to-be’s wedding rehearsal dinner flawless. I sprained my ankle days before the event and Meggan took all the stress off my shoulders. She had things set up and even with guest arriving early she made sure they were take care of. She also made sure that everything we discussed was implemented. Meggan took care of the guests and she took care of me making sure I had time to change and eat the delicious rehearsal dinner food. I am very fortunate that Meggan was our event planner! Nothing but great things said about her and our event at Hearsay. I’m looking forward to throwing my next event and working with Meggan!! She’s the BEST!!

My best friend and I came here for dinner one evening when we were just looking for something different to do. The place was surprisingly empty, but it was Halloween, so that probably explained it.
The service was excellent — everyone was friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, with plenty of different options to choose from. For how elegant and high-end the restaurant looks, the prices were actually very affordable. The drinks were also on point!
Overall, we had a great time and would definitely come back again.

Pros: Very nice atmosphere and vibe, service was attentive, reasonably priced cocktails and delicious Portobello Pasta. Parking is free across the street .

Cons: For the prices and upscale vibe (and owned by the mayor) I was disappointed in them not having cloth napkins, tissue in the restrooms (I tried 4 stalls before I had success), and all the faucets functioning (at least 2 not working).

I would give it another try, but not for a while. Not sure how long they’ve been open, but I expected a bit more. Maybe they need time to work out the kinks.

First time visiting. I love the theme of the place♥️Very vintage❤️❤️The hostess, wait staff, DJ, cooks, bartender, and ambiance did not disappoint. The management staff stayed attentive and even conversated with the hubby and I about events and his history of management. Very articulate and interesting young man No crowd. And only a few patrons at the bar. My type of venue definitely!!! We will for sure return, going forward

Despite seeing some negative reviews and noticing the 3.9 rating, I actually had a really pleasant experience at Hearsay. It was pretty quiet when I went — I was the only one there at the time — but the bartender still treated the job with care and professionalism, which I really appreciated.
I ordered the calamari and the shrimp cocktail, and both were fresh and delicious. The calamari was cooked perfectly and the shrimp tasted very fresh. Sometimes the quality of simple dishes says a lot about a place, and they definitely got it right.
Because of the attentive service and the quality of the food, I’m giving them 5 stars. My experience was great, and the bartender’s attitude alone made the visit worth it.

I ordered the blackened fish sandwich. My husband ordered the NY strip. Our appetizer was the calamari. The ambience is neat but the food was barely edible. The calamari seems fried and then tossed in cornmeal afterwards so it tasted fishy and the texture was odd. My husband asked for a medium steak but it was medium rare. The fish sandwich was supposed to be blackened. It appears to have been peppered and put under a broiler. I asked them to remake the fish as described. It came back with a blackened rub on it. I took my first bite and ended up with a fairly long bone. I ate about 1/3 of the sandwich. It just wasn’t good. The French fries were undercooked and they were served with a “homemade catsup” which was too sweet and way too much like the inside of a can of tomato sauce. This restaurant has great potential but the food wasn’t good at all. The server was lovely.

Really cool speak easy. We had ceviche and it was good. Not mind blowing, but fresh and tastes good. Decor, ambiance and dance floor, all great. Attentive servers too. Always making sure you’re ok. My one qualm is they need to step up their drinks. If they want to come across as exclusive they need consistency and an actual bartender or mixologist. I will share my picture of the two margaritas we ordered. This is the same drink! Supposedly.
They remade the clear one and it came out a little more opaque then the other one, so none consistently made. And they were plain not good. If you’ve been to MAC’s in Arlington? They need consistent and pro bartenders like that. Also, the espresso martini tasted like they shook some kalhua with some ice and strained it in a glass and threw in some coffee beans. Thats it. If you’ve had Cafe Americana’s espresso martini, don’t order the one at Hearsay. Super disappointing.
The margaritas were so bad, we switched to beer and the draft beer was not ice cold. It was cool and just got warmer with how humid it felt in there after dancing. I didn’t finish it.
I still gave this place 4 stars because of all of the other positive experiences and they’re new. But their drink game gotta level up big time!
Is expensive, BTW and parking is not bad, depending when you go. I wouldn’t attempt on a game day/night. But the parking across the street at TX Live is mostly free and plentiful but there is no safe crosswalk to go from parking lot to Hearsay unless you park farther away.

the space is soo nice. my besite and I decdied to do something doffernt and go to tArlington. The bartender was kinda smart mouth with a slick tongue and no knowledge of the wine selection. When prompted about different kinds he stated” its by a black women”. Nothing to do with the wine flavor, fruit, variety, vineyard, name, color, price, nothing. We get past the wine thing and an older lady sits next to me and says its her birthday. I tell the younf man to put the lady drivk on my tab. Me and bestie order food- I asked please tell them well done on the salmon and with mash potaotes. I got a plate with underseason undercooked salmon and rice and broccoli- when I said hey I didnt get the mash potatoes he said oh well the kitchen already closed. he did later bring some cold potatoes that had cheese sprinkled on htem that was even melted. My friend NY Strip was ordered medium rare and she got well. When I got the bill there was a $40 double whistlepig drink, a $20 crown royal charge and 2-$3.00 charges to old fashion . When asked he explaiend he has thought I was paying for their drinks, Iasked why would you think that I dont know them people. He said cuz you look like you fot and laughed. I became pissed and asked for a manager. The younf man left and came back and said hge would just slide mt $60 because he doesnt want managment in his business. Excuse me – Im not paying for these drinks. He said ok. Charged my card $323. I said you didnt remove those drinks because thats still the orginal bill. He said we are closing and walked from behind the bar., We sat for 10 min wating for staff member and no one came to address this. horrible! I had such high hopes. the best thing was ther $100 bottle of wine.

Went for New Year’s Eve. The waiter was busy serving the music side of the restaurant where she gets better tips so neglected taking our order. We had to ask the manager to send someone to take our order. He acted like we were bothering him. We would have just left but we had already paid for a New Year’s Eve dinner package. This second time we’ve been there and the first time we also had bad service but we enjoyed the music so we decided to give the place another chance. Well we will not be going back again. Bad service, band was mediocre, and overpriced drinks. Stay away or just lower your expectations! Very low expectations!

We were so excited to dine in here with our friends and family for a friend’s birthday last night. We arrived shortly after 7pm, order drinks (lemon drops). We were seated around 8:05pm, still no drinks. We asked the waiter for our drinks and she asked us to remind her what we ordered, mind you this was an event party and we only had 2 options (lemon drops or old fashions) which wasn’t the issue, more so the service. We finally received our drinks. Then it was time to order salads (market side or Caesar) my mother does not eat cheese so she asked our waiter if she’s able to get her salad with no cheese, the waiter stated “the salads are already mixed with everything so that’s not possible so we will have to see.” Ok, there’s that. 40 minutes later (not even joking) the salads come, there’s cheese in my mom’s salad. A different waiter delivered the salad so my mom asked “was there no way to get a salad with no cheese?’’ The waiter says “oh I’m sorry it wasn’t requested I will have the kitchen make one without cheese” and came back 10 min. Later with a salad with no cheese, in which the first waiter claimed couldn’t be done. Okay now we’re at 9pm, no one has taken our entree orders, so people still do not have drinks/salads. The people that are done with their salads, our plates just sat at the tables. No one came around to ask if we needed anything, some of us didn’t even have silverware! 9:27 approaches and one of the waiters start taking food orders on one end. After taking half of our orders another girl comes around and takes our order, ok cool. This is the WORSE part, we didn’t get our food until 10:47pm and EVERYTHING WAS COLD!!! Most of us got to-go boxes and left at that point. We all pre paid for this event so that’s why we at least waited around for our meal, and we feel as though we were treated as if the restaurant already got their money, so whatever it is it is. We didn’t get our dessert. My mothers steak was very bloody and she ordered well done! Such a horrible experience from what I thought was a very nice atmosphere from the beginning. I guess big parties do not get proper treatment, it’s sad.
