We were introduced to La Crepe Nanou by a local and were impressed with the food and interesting atmosphere. It has been around for a long time and is one of our local friends favorites. The service was slow, but the food was excellent. We topped off the meal with two crepe desserts shared by the three of us.

La Crepe Nanou felt like a charming little slice of France tucked into New Orleans. The dining room was cozy and intimate, with soft lighting that made it perfect for a relaxed brunch or quiet dinner.

I ordered a savory crepe, and it was delicate, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The texture was light yet satisfying, and the ingredients tasted fresh and thoughtfully combined. Even the simple presentation felt elegant.

Overall, it’s a warm, understated spot that delivers classic French comfort with care — relaxed, refined, and quietly delightful.

Very Cool Joint!! My first time trying the Escargots De Bourgogne (Snails baked in garlic parsley butter) and I was hooked!! Man that was so good!! Went there for a birthday dinner and everything was great!! The crepes were incredible too!!

Sadly, our crepes were reheated so they were dry, crunchy on the edges, not the texture and mouthfeel you’d expect from freshly made crepes. Maybe it was because it was ½ hour before closing, although there were plenty of people inside still. Other than that, we love the cozy feel and service was good!

Wow. What a pleasant surprise. The restaurant looks small from the outside but can sit quite a lot. Reservations are needed. Casual dress. Got there at 5:15pm and by 6p it was packed
Adequate parking at businesses across the street that are close in evening. Entrance is on corner of building and not the 2 large doors that I tried to use. We had the salmon and shrimp dishes and saved the crepes for dessert. Food was excellent. Server was pleasant and seemed to enjoy her job…very attentive. Loved the colors and different decor areas you could sit. Definitely recommend.
Also had French onion soup, escargots, salad and a few drinks…around $70 per person.

Loved the interior, felt like I was in another country, staff was over the top nice. We ordered the fondue , it was incredible, we also ordered a crab crepe and shared it, wasn’t what I expected, a little bland, just needed some seasoning. We ordered the French onion soup each, my favorite, was delicious. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Willvreturn.

Always a go-to whenever I’m in town. Our server was a sweetie, our food was delish, and I wanted my dessert so badly I forgot to take a photo!

We had the crawfish crepe and the lamb chops. Both were perfect. (Sad they no longer have the aioli sauce though!), followed by the chocolate mousse.

Note: The fondue IS yummy but we had that last year and ended up having no room for dessert!

La Crêpe Nanou has been one of my absolute favorite restaurants for years, and I’m giving it five stars because the food and experience are consistently excellent. They have the absolute best French onion soup and steak frites in New Orleans, hands down.

Crepe perfection. We popped by for apps and desert, specifically. I haven’t had fondue in a while… this one was pretty good. The fondue was tasty enough although I feel like it could’ve been creamier. We decided to try one of each crepe. The chocolate was definitely the best. Paired it all with a lovely French Chardonnay. Our server was really awesome. We enjoyed everything on the patio – it made for a great Sunday afternoon stop.
**Get the Escargot, they were fantastic.

The ambiance is great, the place is very pretty, the staff was courteous and very helpful. The crab sauce was excellent although the crepes were a bit thick and overcooked both for my entree and dessert. Two other people at the table enjoyed their salads very much.
