The place is so cute and cozy. They had good ambiance, music and most importantly food was very delicious . DJ came later on and he played a mix of Spanish and English music very versatile. I loved the Mofongo and the loco martini tastes like a coquito. Shout out to the waiter Kimberly she was super friendly and very attentive. 10/10 on the presentation and customer service. No wait time and fast service.

We were there on Friday, January 16 to celebrate a birthday. The food was delicious and the service was on point. The waitress was super friendly and accommodating. Everything about it was great. had their Pork mofongo, Tacos, Chicken with Rice and Beans, all was delicious. We had a wonderful time. Will be visiting soon again.

Ordered on Uber Eats tonight (11/5/25). We ordered two fajitas with a MIX of chicken, shrimp, and steak as it says in the description. Received only chicken but paid $13 extra on each fajita for all three. As you can see in the screenshot, I ordered a MIX. How do you mess that up two times? Paid $30 for each fajita yet only ended up with chicken and NO BEANS with the rice. What a waste of time and money. It’s a Wednesday night I could see if it’s the weekend. Definitely won’t be ordering or dining here ever again.

This place needs to be busier. Delicious food that delights with it presentation and authenticity. Cozy ambiance and the music isn’t as bombastic as you would expect for this sort of restaurant, very tasteful. The Staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. Highly recommend.

I loved this place. The service was excellent. Our waiter was very warm and friendly and even though they didn’t have mocktails on the menu they were happy to accommodate us by making something. The passion fruit mojito is worth trying including the trifongo and goat and oxtail. Worth every penny and will be coming back again when we are in the area again. The music was wonderful as well. All in all a must try. Best meal I’ve had since I got to Long Island.

I visited Tainos for the first time on april of 2025 to celebrate a family member’s birthday. The food was so good! The presentation was good as well, our server was very nice we had a group of 20 people she did an amazing job.

I have been going to Tainos since they first opened. The food is a throwback of authentic Puerto Rican/ Dominican/ Caribbean dishes. The mofongo and Sancocho are the best I’ve ever had in the states. My personal favorite is the pork mofongo with the white cream sauce. I have also rented out their private room for family events, corporate parties etc… This is a true hidden gem. When you walk in you are greeted by the owner and you are welcomed with open arms. The music playing in the background and the flavorful meals take you back to your roots. I highly recommend Tainos.
