I took my coworkers here for lunch and we were very happy with the experience. The food was fantastic and the man at the counter was pleasant and helpful.
The chicken is crunchy and perfectly salted, the fried catfish was flaky but not greasy, and the cornbread was delightful.
I will absolutely eat here again and will tell everyone I know to try it out.

Where to begin….. I placed my order @ 1:38. Received part of my order appx 45 minutes later then had to wait another 5 minutes to receive my sides. Mind you I was on my hour lunch break. Now lets rate this food:
– Fish 3.5/5- a lil bland but overall a solid piece of fish. Would return for this item if somebody else was paying.
– Sweet Potato Casserole- 1/5- It has a weird flavor to it. It definitely does not taste like anything remotely close to a sweet potato anything. Almost like to much butter was added. As you can see in the pics it is swimming in an oily substance I can only assume is butter. Also unsure what made this a “casserole”
– Mac and Cheese- 0/5. Take it off the menu right now! I don’t even know how you get the noodles to separate from the cheese like this stuff here. And to put it in a container and serve it is CRAZY!
Maybe this place just needs to work out the kinks and it will be better.
The place is clean and the staff seem ok. I guess you could try it if want.

Ok so stopped here before taking the train back to Atlanta. This place knows how to make a delicious catfish dinner with corn bread, absolutely one of the best I have had. He is giving my go to place a true run for their money back in Atlanta. Found out it is his own bread recipe that enhances the catfish. You have to stop in a try their fish, next visit will be whiting and wings.

If I could give this place 10 stars I would! Highly recommend! All made fresh to order and homemade batters and seasonings. Couldn’t ask for a better meal! I’d pay money for those seasonings! Awesome conversation with the owner also.

I thoroughly enjoyed my meal! I had came a few minutes before close and was still served my fish. I really appreciated the customer service and kindness shown to me. The original batter was so tasty and the mac and cheese so cheesy. Sweet potato casserole is a 10/10 as well. Definitely will come back for more.

Highly recommended! Food is amazing! I order the whiting snack pack and my brother order catfish and shrimp. Everything was BUSSIN! It was so good I ordered chicken wings on the way out. If your in the Charlottesville area please stop in. Music is on point, ESPN on the screen and Mr. Dee will keep you in good conversations!
