Garlic Knot is a good value for pizza, but honestly, the garlic knots are the real highlight. Get them with cheese—they’re soft, garlicky, and slightly crisp on the outside. Definitely worth a stop just for those.

Garlic Knot is an excellent establishment. Reminds me of a typical NY corner pizzeria. Good friendly people behind the counter. The pizza is delicious! We typically order cheese with half pepperoni. The White Pizza is my favorite. Baked Ziti and the Penne Pasta Alfredo are also fantastic. Of course, you can’t skip the Garlic Knots with Mozzarella. Show up hungry!

Where to start… we have been loyal garlic knot customers for 20+ years. We’ve tried other places, but find ourselves coming back time and time again. However… our experience tonight with Brian might make us rethink the decision next time. We online ordered 2 pizzas, garlic knots, and an oil and garlic pasta. Upon receiving our delivery, the pasta had cheese on it, which is a problem because the person eating this item is lactose intolerant. I called the restaurant and asked if they could send us a replacement. I was met with initial hesitation before Brian, the manager, got on the phone when I was then met with resistance. Brian claimed that because we did not add a note nor specification for no cheese, we needed to order a new one. This would be fair except… nowhere on the menu does it say the pasta has cheese? Nowhere can I leave a note? And nowhere can I select no cheese? Brian told me “it’s Italian food you should assume it has cheese all Italian food has cheese!” I told Brian he could send us a new pasta or I will drive down there and have this conversation in person. To my shock, Brian enthusiastically replied “I have all night”. So alas, I got in the car, brought the pasta, and suited up. Upon arrival, Brian informed me that I could either pay for a new pasta with no cheese or take the cheese pasta. I explained that the menu does not have cheese (a common allergen) listed as an ingredient. As Brian sat there trying to find the word “cheese” on the menu, he slowly realized I was right. Eventually he did say I was right, and mentioned he doesn’t write the menu and that the cheese was merely a garnish. Doesn’t matter Brian and garlic knot owners, it still can make people sick if it’s just a garnish! Brian tried to tell me that he’s seen a cheese-less pasta ordered before. So, right then and there, I pulled out the online ordering system. And guess what! It was IMPOSSIBLE. We could’ve stared at the online system and menu all night, it would not have been possible (photos included). Regardless, I am a paying customer, give me the pasta? Eventually it was no longer about the pasta (as he did agree to give me a replacement pasta) and became about Brian’s lack of customer service. To argue with a customer in front of a full restaurant? Insane. But it doesn’t stop there… Brian literally told me that he “lives for moments like this” after I apologized that the people who wrote the menu and online system shouldn’t be putting him in this position. Brian.. you live for this? Crazy. All of this could have been resolved had the menu specified there would be cheese, I was given the option to remove the cheese or add a note, or had Brian exhibited good customer service and just sent me a new pasta. Hell, I would’ve been satisfied had he offered for me to come pick up a new pasta! I hope Brian receives some customer service training and I hope that the menu and online ordering system is updated. People literally die by accidentally consuming common allergens that are not disclosed on a menu/ingredient list. It is not on the customer to assume an ingredient is in a dish. It’s on the restaurant to disclose that, whether a main ingredient or garnish. I hope things change before someone tries to sue you all.

This place shouldn’t even call itself a Garlic Knot. Nothing we ordered (veggie calzone, stromboli, garlic knots, mozzarella sticks) had anything resembling a hint of flavor on them. I don’t think the calzone was even cooked all the way based on what the bottom of it looked like. Everything fell out of the bottom of it and the dough looked like it wasn’t cooked all the way through. This is a terrible establishment.

Best Pizza in southwest Metro. True NY style pizza. When moving to the area it we tried 4 other places prior to landing on Garlic Knot as our go to delivery pizza spot.

All the employees were really nice and very attentive to me and my toddler, while we had dinner in the restaurant. Even at shift change the Mgr. (I assume) that came on, checked in with me and my son and chatted a little with us. Wonderful experience and amazing pizza and garlic knots, as always. My son especially loved eating the ranch with his fingers, because well… toddlers.

We use to love our neighborhood garlic knot. Probably order twice a month. Anything from the pizza to spaghetti. All so very good! Unfortunately the last 3 times we have ordered. “W” ( not going to use his real name). Will double charge. It’s just not what it used to be. We live less than a block away so we always ask to tip our driver $10 on our card that’s on file with them. We are done.

Just fyi? Marcos has been super good with easy pick up and delivery in the neighborhood. And much cheaper and close to the same quality of pizza.

The pizza was not cooked all the way nor was the five garlic knots. Couldn’t even eat the knots and our fingers got sticky from raw dough. And our pizza was cold when it arrived. Never ordering from this place again. Guess I’ll drive down to the one on wads. Wish I could give 0 stars!

I’m a 20 something from NYC, & I’m going on my 3rd year living in Denver now.

I have NEVER found a more NY feeling pizza spot than this little gem right here. The food may be alright up at Italian restaurants in RiNo (& I mean alright, not bad, not NY amazing). The food is real good here tho. Plus, the whole atmosphere feels NY. Denver pizza spots go for a modern-chic kinda style. New York isn’t about showing off like that, it’s about being real. This place is real, simple, authentic. It feels like you’re walking off a Queens street & grabbing a quick slice, not like you’re walking in for a pampered sit-down dinner.

Okay, maybe I’m raving a little much here, BUT I really did feel at home! Haha

Plus, I was short on change, & the guy at the counter took $3 off my order & offered me a free drink.

Real kind stuff, real people

Food was good for takeout pizza, we particularly liked the Mozzarella Knots. Staff was a little less than friendly, but everyone has an off day.
